Scott Mitchell is a photographer and cinematographer. His story has a few twists and turns, especially the bit about being a skipper and how that career came to a close, before picking up a camera and heading to the track with some mates. How to stop you Crocs from slipping on a wet floor. Re-tread your Crocs with an angle grinder
Переглядів 203Місяць тому
⚠️ Disclaimer: This is a joke! DO NOT attempt this at home. Angle grinders are dangerous tools. Please use appropriate footwear for wet weather. Only an idiot would take this as actual advice. ⚠️ It's raining in Brisbane, and I've lost traction. Time for some DIY retread action! 🐊🔥 Who needs a new pair when you've got an angle grinder and a can-do attitude? 😂 #kltd #CrocMod #WetWeatherReady #DI...

Any Lynx/Axe spray you would recommend for people that haven't used Lynx/Axe before?
Lynx Africa is the OG
Holy freaking Christ... Do I see a 1970's BMW 3.0 CSL? It's difficult to miss that paint job. So cool. ❤
Good spotting! You certainly do. That's a nut and bolt restoration only recently completed
@@wearekltdThose are, to my eye, unmistakable colors. I think my heart skipped a beat. Hehe
It's an incredible car. There's a widebody CSL there too being built if you look closely.
🤔 is that like AXE 🤷♂️
Sure is
Learn to video
🤣🤣🤣
Bro didn’t even show us the V 😭
You just got that guy laid that night. Good on you
I can't see it
U cant fucking film dawg
I like Queensland!
Step one remove guard from angle grinder.
Safety squint engaged
😂😂😂
Not stupid if it works! Still pretty stupid though 🤣
I think I’m getting one. So is the tapered exhaust connector just a press fit onto the pipe?
Correct.
@@wearekltd Thanks!
I hear it's a bit hard to get a new isuzu truck for adventuring. Mate got jerked around by isuzu so he's gone full blast with a unimog.
How good is a Unimog. What a rig
Snowrunner🎉🎉😂❤
This is Australian yeah
Sure is
I love it so much!!!!!!!
It's pretty epic!
Nahh💀💀
Tell me why he sounded like stewie griffin when he said “ such a cool guy “
Good people helping good people!
The old rising tide at it again 😉
he is a sexy guy
Very dashing
It was in Oregon, USA for the final scene. I surfed there its pretty good!
Funny that 😅 my jam is watching ale work on cars 😊
have you welded sheet metal over the hole?
Correct
Apparently fast 😂. Try insanely fast.
Yeah, it's off its head
My biggest qualm is the data. Although, there's no privacy regs managing cars at this point so it's not just the Chinese ones that harvest info from you. They save money via cheaper manufacturing labour as they do for every other thing they make, and copy designs and engineering. Less R&D overheads to cover. Hence the things are cheaper. I'd also want to see some crash test footage. But I still wouldn't buy one because nobody makes proper station wagons these days.
Also the fact the Chinese government is funding these companies
There seems to be this odd thing in Australia about "cheap Chinese shit" when it comes to cars. When in fact they are far from it these days and are fast becoming the default decision for a lot of people, not only because of very competitive pricing, but the inclusion of features you'd only find in more expensive cars and on top of that a lot of them getting the 5 star ANCAP ratings. The same used to be said about Japanese and Korean cars way back. At some point people are just going to have to embrace Chinese vehicles, they're not going away.
It's funny, I'm old enough to remember how the Japanese, then Korean cars were treated the way. Now they are part of the mix and as you suggest, so will these. As I said, it's a good car to drive
@@wearekltd yeah, it’ll be interesting to see how the market shifts. Especially since now we have no Aussie manufacturing. I do think a lot of other manufacturers will have to consider pricing on their new vehicles, especially EVs if they want to stay competitive.
I been there it was amazing
Incredible spot isn't it
How did it drive? Being the world's fastest car I'm sure it was bounced of the limiter at some point?
It said "nahhh nahh nahh nahh nahh nah nahhhh"
But it's no Honda Jazz
Why has he left the skid factory?
Long story short was time after 7 years
@@wearekltdhim and woodie still friends though?
Absolutely, he's already done a few guest spots on the show.
Open it up so we can see your Mungatron creation
I would have done that if I was smart 🤣

1:38:52 My mate has an 08 Versa SL that we've sold to eachother a few times over the years to keep it in the family and it has now morphed into something we've talked about all those years ago. Watching him learn and grow as the little nugget has gotten both of our families 200k miles after getting it from a family friend at 113k miles on the clock has made that thing priceless to us. A similar story of buying it the first time since it took him and his family such a long distance in such a short amount of years.
1:14:54 watching the fairlane videos after seeing Turbo Yoda on MCM years ago you could tell the passion showing through would succeed. Awesome to see everyone successful and sharing in the success.
I can just imagine you looking at that bin and just being like, "yeah fuck it"
Classic mate 😅
Its always funny when you see big blokes holding onto a 6" cordless grinder with 2 hands welding gloves and a full welding helmet lmao
Got earplugs in too
Best saw horse ever. Nice of the council to supply you with 2 the same hight i think
… That’s a *Ranger* Raptor. Not the *F-150* Raptor
They can destroy the water repellent fabric coating too, but still I have been soo tempted to take mine through a couple of times.. now I do t have to wander! thank you for your in depth and conclusive test run.. Elbow grease it is 😑
Don't do it! This was a no touch spray wash too, so I thought I was OK. Glad to be of service 🤣
Actually got me for a sec with that one 😂
He's smooth in those kicks 🤣
I thought left foot acceleration would be the give away 🤣🤣🤣
By far the fkn dumbest post on youtube 😂 well done

“When you learn a new thing you’re not only learning the thing, you’re learning how you learn and that’s the most important thing!”
Isn't that the truth, you're helping me remember the nuggets of gold! So much good advice in these conversations
It's amazing that we don't study more, the art of learning how to learn. There's more than one way and so many who don't thrive in a classroom. They need challenge, problem solving, learning by doing.
