I really like the Dolphin Robotic Pool Cleaner because it does all the work that I use to have to do. I save water by not vacuuming to waste. It works great, and it doesn't use that much electricity. It evens cleans the side of the walls. I use to have a Polaris cleaner that used more electricity and didn't clean the pool as well as the Dolphin Robotic Cleaner. It's relatively easy to clean, and store. I wish that I had known about this cleaner years ago when I had my Polaris that I didn't like at all. I'm a happy camper.
Just another very expensive solution to a problem that nobody really has. This and all the others will never pick up any sizable debris. So you still have to manually remove small branches and such. If people use the pool, small dirt and debris are suspended in the water and and captured in the filter. Wouldnt pay more than a couple hundred bucks. Maybe a Creepy or Zodiak. This robot stuff is too pricey for what they do (or dont do).
You are correct !! We have the M500 and had to replace the power supply once now. Probably our fault because it was left way too many times out when it was a hard rain... So we purchased a new power supply. Now the new power supply got us through the first year and now that my husband is out of pocket for 2 months the power supply comes on but the vacuum doesn't move. I have MS and it's not the easiest for me to get it out of the water to clean the filters, but I always find a way :) But now the power lights come on, but the thing won't move. Figured a way to get it out so I could check the propeller and even to see if something is jammed causing it not to move. Just will have to wait till my husband is back home to see what he might do BUT I highly doubt we will have a robot vacuum of any kind. One more thing... we have a large pool, 38000 gallons, and it climbs the wall, but it DOES not climb the wall either... It does not and never has climbed the wall all the way around the pool. The best method I know of is elbow grease. Get that manual broom going REGULARLY if you want a good brushing. Get the manual skimmer out too !! If you are expecting the M500 to brush and clean IT IS NOT. But we tried it anyway... Would have been nice if it did the walls like everyone claims but it does not. Climbing up once does not mean it actually climbs the WALLS. It will go up the wall and right back down, but it does NOT do this all around the pool. Last, it does work better than the Polaris and the pool does and has never looked better but that's when it's working... Don't think you will not have to use the manual Brush and your Skimmer pole techniques... Live and learn...
Hi David, looks like it has been a year, you have purchased this cleaner. Have you recognized any pros and cons that have not been discussed in this video? Do you still recommend this cleaner? If you don't mind would can you tell us what it did cost you before taxes? Thank You in Advance!
I purchased one of these units in June 2017 and one of the drive motors stopped working after using it only 5 times. It's now the end of September, swimming season is over, my unit still hasn't been repaired, because drive motors are on back order. I contacted Maytronics via email and telephone, my request to send me a replacement unit was declined. I actually regret not purchasing an Aquabot.
Hi David, great video. As you mentioned there are not much videos on the M500. It seems you had it for a few months now. Do you still recommend the M500? Any issues so far that you can share? I'm trying to make a decision if I should go with the M500 vs S300i, and recommendation? Appreciate your input.
quanto costa?

Very helpful thanks
Oh that’s cool it’s controlled using your phone
Any updates is it good or was it a waste of time and money, please
A guy that wants to wear a Deep Blue watch should also have a proper pocket knife. Geez!!

Listening to this guy makes you realise he really has no idea. He really loves his ‘centre brush’. Haha
He had the filter media backwards. The one in the unit is for big stuff. The ones that look like car air filters are for fine dust like debris.
How do you like this watch so far?
Cheers
Nice video. How much did you pay for it?
Molto bello

Thanks you for the informative video. Can we get an update on the unit. Would you still recommend this unit?
