Hey all, I’m Karen, an Oz based Filipina in Perth.
My friends and family like calling me “Dora” because I love travelling!
Some of my travels are documented in my blog tipsntravels.blogspot.com. But I’m trying out how I go with sharing my travel stories and experiences through vlogging and/or photo vlogging as well! After moving to Sydney in 2016, I’ve been all over Australia but there’s still so much to see and do. So I’m hoping to explore more of it and of course other countries and share it with you as I go along!

Nice sunny winter weather so decided to go to Lane Poole Reserve. Only an hours drive from Mandurah. It’s got lots of campground, picnic tables, facilities and Mtb trails.
Snow weekend at Corin Forest

If you are looking for a quick snow trip, try Corin Forest in Paddy's River in ACT. 45 minute drive from Canberra it's very accessible for that quick weekend snow activity. They have an area for Ski and snow boarding and a toboggan area too. #winter #act #corinforest #canberra #wintertravel #snowboarding

Stayed in Canberra for 2 nights. On our second day, headed to Perisher Valley for our muhch awaited Snow experience. Had a try at the toboggan and enjoyed it a lot! Camping at Berrima Reserve

An overnight camping trip at Berrima Reserve. It is right next to the river so we were able to go fishing. Went on a Sunday and it was quiet and not crowded. So I almost caught a carp but I think I got too excited the fishing line got cut off! Very nice camping area, with toilet facilities too. We would definitely go back when the weather is good. #berrima #berrimareserve #nsw #newsouthwales
Overnight trip at St. Albans, NSW

A lovely weekend trip to St. Albans is a must if you feel like getting that much needed escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. An overnight trip is enough to indulge in this quaint town. Stay at the St. Alban's Stables, a converted cabin with complete facilities and outdoor toilet and shower. Make sure to make a stop for lunch or dinner at Settler's Arms Inn and try out their steak!
