New York City in November - Home Movie

Went to NYC last November and had some great time by myself, got a chance to take quite a few photos with my Fuji GW960 medium format range finder camera and overall I was quite happy exploring the city. I went to California this May to visit my aunt, and i kept recording our conversations and the places we went to and I also had the chance to test my recently purchased Fuji GW690, what an amazing medium format camera that is, i'll talk about more in the future, but in the meanwhile i put some of the shots i took in the video. Got the opportunity to test de Sony FX3 for a couple of minutes and was able to work the color a little bit in post, amazing what this small form factor could accomplish.

I've been so busy with work, that i couldn't make any more videos, but got a few in the pipeline so i'll be back with more photography and tech related videos. I made this just for fun, i thought the song from instagram was funny and wanted to make something, anyway this assembly took way too much cuz i had to record various angles for it to work.

A quick edit from my new Studio Display Unboxing, been editing with it for TWO days now and can i say that i love it so far. This was a pretty fun thing to film and edit. Shot with de BMPCC 6K and edited and coloring in Davinci Resolve Studio. I have more Widelux and film photography related videos in the near future so subscribing is very much appreciated. My Widelux F7 is By Far my Favorite Camera EVER, especially at night! Try using 3200 speed film at night with this camera and you will be Amazed! An added bonus is taking night photos after a rain! Have Fun!

Nice video! Would you say the Widelux could fit in your pocket?
The camera is best for an action shot as the curvature leads the eye into the center. The bike shot was ok, but closer would be better

@@r3gistro Hey! i didnt get the Widelux but i did stumble upon a Horizon 202 which i bought. Plastic body, "six" shutter speeds and i quite like the results. I made a video of it too on my channel. ua-cam.com/video/nLBsp3V3b5M/v-deo.html

I like a lot of the pictures, but I think the secret is not leaving the horizontal orientation nor shoting up or downwards.... the shot out of the bus ist incredible for example!
Yeah i think it's kinda tricky and you have to shoot a lot to get familiar with giving a little angle to make it interesting while not distorting the image too much. Thanks! i'm glad you liked it. I'll post more soon!

Very nice pictures and video of you taking photos,gives us viewers a very good understanding of the process. I think you do it the right way, if you are using your gut feeling or whatever it is, it looks good.Have you seen the photographer Jens Olof Lasthein, he is also using a widelux camera.I would like to get a Widelux or Horizon myself. @@r3gistro should you ever can try one, keep in mind. this camera is a bit larger and ...... possible to shoot without a tripod but not so easy to handle. plus would be usefull to use a second camera for rangefinding. the fun part is the magazine of this camera, if you have a idea how to load it its fine. hmmm maybe this weekend i could make some fotos. but it would depend on the weather and so.
