Yes
Darrell....your really good at figuring out how to do anything so far with many different Sick devices where others have not.....very impressive really...!
Thanks! I'm always looking for new ideas to make content around!
@@darrellbrogdon885 I have a pretty cool robotics project here in Kansas using some Sick products and could use your help and a place to buy more sick sensors for it if you would like ? thank you John
Great Videos you are making here lately on sick products. What screen is the MLG2 pro is being shown on this data? are they mlg2 pro nets ? We are using 3 sets of mlg2 pro io links here in KS on our working proof of concept. We want to specify and buy 3 more sets of MLG pros and would like your help and purchase from you. Please give me note with your best contact info. I think we want to also buy a sig 200 io link master and the logic editor software. Thank you. John
Thanks! The screen I'm showing is an HMI interface I created. The MLG2's in this video are connected to a PLC and I'm doing the calculations there to be displayed on the HMI. Feel free to shoot me an email. My email address is my FIRSTname.Lastname@sick.com
I NEED YOUR HELP CAN YOU SHARE ME THE EDS FILE SUPEEER PLEASE¡¡
I TRY TO ADD MI SENSOR TO STUDIO 5000 WITH GENERIC EDS BUT IM STILL CANT DO IT BEST REGARDS FROM MEXICO
@@cristoferguillen4423 The latest EDS file will be under the downloads->software tab of the device you are using.
@@darrellbrogdon885 the eds isn’t avaliable for my contry :( but Thanks anyways
I did fix the graph after making the video.
I also want to monitor the data of MPB10 by connecting MPB10 to SIG200 in the same way as you. But I can't connect MPB10 to SIG200. Can you tell me how you did it?
There are a few different ways you can do it. Either with an Si-Link master(PN 1061790), through the logic editor, or over a communication like REST API. I've done it before as well with Excel and an API call. For example, once you have the IODD file in the Master just use the following API Call(Of course you'll have to use a different IP address)... Http://192.168.1.23/iolink/v1/devices/master1port1/processdata/getdata/value?format=iodd
Hey Darrell I'm doing an internship in an enterprise for the thesis degree. I'm using the MPB10 sensor connected to a SIG200 to analyze the vibrations of a cylinder driven by an electric motor in different conditions. I'm using the REST API in order to take out the different values interesting (such as frequent and dominant peaks) through the ISDU parameterization. I searched some tutorials on the internet and I saw that there is a well-done "application" that you access with SOPAS (the SDD file of the MPB10), the one you show in the videos. Now I see that you connect the sensor with the SILINK2 Master directly to the computer in order to use it. I tried different methods to use the application, but since it doesn't detect the sensor I cannot use it. Is there another way to use that already-made application/tool without the SILINK2 Master? I'm asking it because I don't have it (from what I understood is kinda an adaptor M12-USB that also gives power) and I really would like to collect, process, and analyze those data more easily. Thanks a lot.
Saved my bacon!

Good Stuff!
Sorry about the ringing in the video. I can not hear it but I've been made aware of it.
Thanks Darrel! You make the setup look very easy!
Its not too bad. IO-Link data comes out pretty clean as well!
Man those things are durable!
This is great. Thank you Darrell.
Glad it was helpful!
