What is that transom plate you have? Is it for raising and lowering your outboard motor? Can you please share the details on it and why one would need this setup? Thanks in advance!!
It’s a jackplate I made from 100x50x6mm aluminium. My transom is for a short shaft motor and I have a long shaft. It’s adjustable up and down but you need a couple of spanners to do it. Not motorised or has a crank handle to be able to do it on the fly.
Is the new plate steel or aluminum?
3mm aluminium powder coated

@@sweetf.a.7271 awesome thx for the info!!
Simple, good video!
By looking at the design, it doesn't look too hard to fabricate one of these. I know, it's not right to do that.
Hopefully you do a follow up vid on its performance. Also nice looking boat. A walkthrough vid of ur layout would be worth while doing 👍🏻
Good work.I installed a permatrim on my 30 yam.
Nice install but please post how the old plate compares to the new flat plate.
Much better handling and getting on plane.
How was the performance difference? I’m about to add a hydrofoil to my outboard in a couple of weeks
Handles much better than the stingray and gets on plane easier
