I dont ubderstand the axel connection part. How did you link up all 4 axles? Doesnt the axle only have one sided drive shaft connection? So how does yours have 2.
I used to output halves together. Instead of having a back. It makes it two sided. Might be able to look up “how too” tandem drive axle
@@RCWakohow did you figure out how far apart the axles would go?
I mostly kept axle distance to stock axial links ,that way you could buy parts as needed rather than all custom.

Ive got a bunch allready in my cart like axles, gearbox, motor and esc You happen to know the length of the drive shafts or the scx10? Also what do you call the black things in which the shock get screwed. The curved once on the frame
@@STRIMIX I used metal telescoping drive shafts on and shortened the ones between the axles. I sold this truck couple years ago so I don’t have it to measure anything.

I've found that these are also good for 1/18th to 1/14th scale if you go 3-wide with the 50cm tiles. With the power those cars have it actually feels like relatively high-grip dirt, but without all the maintenance.
Yes indeed. I just don’t have the space e I have run 1/16 on it. But built a track on the side of the house for those now.

@@demoths More like around $350 or so. 30cm single oval is $260 and this is a bit more than just that. Still not stupidly expensive for what you get though.
Nice! I used the same technique to build my course, except I used hot glue gun and plaster of paris with Walmart tempra paint on top of blue foam board. My course is for 1/43 scale too. Trade ya subs.

Hi there! I am relatively new to the RC car hobby. I have a decent amount of experience with RC aircraft though. I am trying to build a remote control LAV-25 which is an 8 Wheel Drive armored vehicle. The set off that you have there. Looks pretty close to what I would need. Do you have a parts list? If so, I would greatly appreciate it!
all driveline , trans , axles, links, off axial scx10 gen1 , drive shafts are telescoping got from amazon , there are 2 build videos on it the frame and trans case /mount is aluminum angle stock, i have sold the truck but cant think of anything else
