I jumped on and got in early, didn't have a single issue and it didn't take me long to download, much faster then 2020. I am blown away by MSFS2024, it's such a massive step up with improvements in every category. All the hype was real, yes the servers are overloaded but the sim itself is OUTSTANDING. Performance is better then 2020 on my rig. I just put up a video i recorded earlier, lucky i got to fly because servers weren't so bad the first hour.

Is it possible to setup a VFR approach to a specific runway runway at your destination and use VNAV to take over at your TOD? I know this is possible in the G1000 panel. Thank you!

I like the cutter. It's a charming, really well developed starter. Kinda slow in atmo, that's the only issue to me because once you buy a C1 or Cutlass you'll only use it for bunkers and deliveries, but I love the looks and overall feeling.

The Cutter was my starter ship too. Personaly i love it. Its the Camper Van of the starters. It cant do ship combat, but alows you to do basicaly everything else. With 4SCU of cargo, you can fill 1SCU boxes of weapons and armor in bunkers and sell them in bulk. You can also sometimes get cargo from Salvage and other missions, wich you can "aquire" for extra proffit.

In the real world the throttle remains open at flight RPM at all times during flight. The collective is used to ascend or descend, the throttle is not touched. Engine RPM is maintained by the governor, not sure what the percentage is in the H125, A-Star or Squirrel, whatever there called in your part of the world, but for the MD500D,E, F I believe it's 103% N1. You will probably find if you use yr collective rather than your throttle you'll find you will have more control and less pucker factor at the bottom.
