It's only windy Dec through Feb for the most part. Each week yields 2 or 3 calm days during that time. Los Barriles is a great little town to spend quality time in! Lots of great people. Excellent food. Plenty to do. You guys should give it a go some time. There are some really nice places on VRBO to rent! The motto for LB is " No Bad Days. " I'll be back for a 6th visit in March. Can't wait!

One more thing Pete. How far would you say it is from Marble to Chrystal City? Thanks

Why did you go so fast on this one? The road looks more difficult on this part. Were you ever worried on these shelf parts or were you confident the road was wide enough?

Pete, I think I've mailed you before you before and I like your trip the best on Lead King Basin. From what I can see on part 1 the shelf road at the first is the roughest part. The rest of the trip looks very pretty and the road enjoyable. Is there anyone at Marble or Chrystal Creek that can mark out a map on the basin so I do not get off the trail. I've got a map, but maybe things have changed a little. I'll be there next month. Thanks

Pete, I would like to say one more thing, could you say where you are and app. alt. every now and then. It would make video much more interesting if you would comment on trail every now and then. Mind you, I'm not critizing, just saying one or two things added would make these outstanding videos. I have a Go Pro 5 that I plan to use this fall on this trail, weather permitting.
