Thickness measurement method for dry painting (DFT) as per SSPC-PA2

This channel is for study purpose. I try to upload videos which is helpful for the testing and inspection of coating and painting. This video is for the guidance to measure the dry film thickness (DFT) of painting on structure. It is as per SSPC PA-2 Standard. If anyone wants more guidance write on comment I will support if required I will send soft copy of SSPC PA-2.
Salt Test by Bresle's Patch Method

Testing for Painting and coating Salt test As per ISO 8502-6 Bresle's Patch method water for testing salt 3ml and water keep in contact to the surface at least 2 minute. Conversion can very depending on the Instrument (conductivity meter) I have used KIT of Elcometer138.

Why are you multiplying by 1.2 ? I cant find this mentioned anywhere in manual
It's depends upon patch size.

How to convert to mg/m2 this value?
Same value will be mg/m2
For micro gm/ cm2 we have to multiple by 0.1
@@sktutorial8124 I'm using elcometer 138 . The readings are coming in micro gram/cm^2. I want to convert it to mg/m². So I need to multiply by 10 right?
