    Hi! Thank you for a nice, neat presentation:). I had a follow up doubt along the similar lines of the previous question for thumb making. I didn't quite understand the thumb part where you started with 11 hdc! Did you use the cut yarn as it is and included it in hdc?

    Where did you get the 5 from? When you divide 5 from 70?

    • @Loops_of_Love
      @Loops_of_Love 26 днів тому

      You can divide it in several ways. Dividing by 5 was the method I found to distribute the sizes ideally for the sleeves, back, and chest.

      @Loops_of_Love i want to make sure I'm understanding correctly. You want to make sure the numbers for the sleeves, back and front are odd numbers. Correct? Sorry if I have a lot of questions. You have been the only make to show how you came up with your numbers. Other designers will not answer my questions. Thank you

    • @Loops_of_Love
      @Loops_of_Love 25 днів тому

      @mariarichards8229 You’re absolutely correct! The numbers for the sleeves, back, and front should be odd. It helps to keep the design balanced and symmetrical. Feel free to ask as many questions as you need-I'm happy to help! 😊

    Hi, very nice tutorial. What are the measurements for medium and large sizes.

    • @Loops_of_Love
      @Loops_of_Love Місяць тому

      Hi, thank you for your comment. The sweater in this tutorial is made using the top-down method, which allows you to customize the fit as you go, based on the person’s size and fit preference. In the video, I shared my own measurements, which are for a size XL, as an example. You can use the same approach to adjust for Medium or Large sizes by starting with a yoke that fits well around the shoulders and modifying the increases accordingly. Please refer to the video for more details.

    Hi. Can I please suggest something... as lovely as this pattern looks, the speckled yarn makes it very difficult to see what you are demonstrating. A plain colour is much easier to see. And then your crochet hook is also the same colour as the yarn, making it even more difficult to see where you are inserting the hook into the swatch. 😊
