Nice share of some old school football. Love the look of the Tony Banfield. Thanks for sharing with us
Glad you enjoyed it! I have almost all of the football cards…🤣😬 Many more videos coming.
Nice pick ups! Charlie Krueger owned a liquor store near where I grew up!
Wow! Cool! He was the #1 pick in the NFL draft! I will eventually do a longer video about him. If you’ve got any good stories, or old pictures of him, let me know! 🤓👍
Good stuff
Appreciate it
This is awesome! I love old wax wrappers. They're like works of art! Thanks for sharing.
I’m surprised how many other people collect wrappers! Kinda cool. I hope I see more being shown on n UA-cam!
Fantastic wrappers man. I collect wrappers as well. Not crazy collect but if i see one at a good price ill snag it up. Just subbed ya up. Enjoyed.
Welcome to the group! Eclectic items being shown here! My collections are honestly a bit overwhelming as I re-discover them after decades of storage! Thanks for watching! 😎
Nice wrapper collection!
I have more! Just gotta uncover them all! 🤓😬 thanks for watching! Wrappers are hard to find in the wild, but often can be picked up for free, if you’re local card store carries old wax packs, and you hang out there enough to witness folks cracking vintage packs! 😁 I think that’s how I got a couple of mine?
I collect the wrappers too!!! I don’t have the 78 baseball but have a nice little run. The hockey packs are sweet too!
It's funny that they tried to do a 3x photo for Jim Abbott like his UpperDeck card, but the photography doesn't look as "smooth." Always liked Abbott, a great over coming the odds story.
RIP Pete!❤
Good job 👍🏻❤
I found, simply watching myself sort into color piles strangely relaxing!?😎. The quiet clicking sounds! 🤪☺️ I’m glad you enjoyed it also.
Cool pieces
Great video on hockey cards, that is an area of sports card collecting I am looking to always gain some knowledge and this video did just that. Thanks for sharing my friend and Happy Collecting!
I don’t consider myself much of an expert on Hockey Cards, but I will disseminate what I DO know, through videos on the channel! 👍
Pete was incredible
I wasn’t allowed to watch TV as a kid, but I got to watch him in the mid 80’s once I went to College…and watch highlights. Never got to see him play live.🥺
Police cards were huge in Wisconsin when I grew up. Thanks for sharing
Thanks for sharing. I DO remember the junk wax era card mania. I was afflicted myself, but spent what free time I had at one of the 15-20 card stores that were around LA. Never saw a police card getting handed out!
DARE is still a thing. Like, this is a DARE school (it says TODAY on a sign at Wareham high school)
I did look up what the controversy was. I am a strong believer in all substances being legalized, as most are less destructive that the legal ones. I’m also a strong believer in steering kids away from substances in general, until they’re old enough to Vote… and even then, it’s important to continue to educate everyone with the facts and realities of addiction and health. Sadly, social media may end up being the “addiction “ that brings down a few generations of Americans. 😩😎🥸… oh! Hey Dan!
Congrats to a great channel. People take note, you were there at the beginning.
One day I’m gonna ask how you do the AI stuff
Good stuff
Wow the things you bring out i forgot about them. Do you remember when the police gave out cards to kids? It kinda makes you think are the good times really gone for good.
I forgot about a good portion of the stuff I saved too! 😂 lol half the fun for me is locating forgotten treasure, the other half is showing it off to other folks who might also get a bit of that nostalgic feeling. ❤
I make a habbit of never returning to a channel that has click bait. Try harder.
I was wondering WTF as the game in the title pic, now I'm finding another video. Nice way to click bait mate.
I've seen way too much Kinnikuman that at this point it feels like I'm in an alien world whenever I see the M.U.S.C.L.E. name from the 80's or even the 2000's Ultimate Muscle name.
I sold off almost my entire collection of figures and the original poster, a few years back… I still have some sealed products I think?
Mighty Bomb Jack was a sleeper classic. 💣🍒🌴
There’s not that many old NES games that are still fun to play. Back in 1999 I reviewed about 200 games in my collection, for “fun” factor… the end result was a stack of about 10 games! 😂 Some real stinkers were released… Mighty Bomb Jack made it into the good pile.👍
@@mackeymintle66 💯💯 Plus Jacks theme music is pure gold. 🎶🎶
Awesome cards! I agree that hockey gets no love. I love the old Parkys and the older Topps cards. They had so many awesome cards from the 50s, 60s, and 70s. So many of them were amazing looking!
The upside, is…you can still afford a lot of crisp cool looking vintage hockey of under appreciated players! I only have so much space in my head to follow All the various things I collect(ed). Old Hockey stats land outside my interest level, but I still love the look of the old cards! Thanks for watching! 😎👍
Awesome hockey presentation!
These cards are great! Where I grew up, all hockey cards were rare before 90-91. I couldn't find them anywhere!😂
As a kid, I saw them a couple times, but I ended up in California during the junk wax era, and all I ever saw was the current packs and boxes from about 1982-1993. Luckily I bought a handful of old wax packs, but I barely have anything that isn’t over-produced. I will do a video about the one vintage hockey set, I impulse bought, back in 1993-4. I DID get to see the Great one play a couple times… LA Kings fever was a thing for a couple of years, there.
@@mackeymintle66 I remember when he went to the Kings. It was huge! I will start picking up some of the older hockey cards I was never able to find. I picked a Lemieux rookie at the National. I was stoked to pick that one up!
@@billyballgamesportscards i saw that episode! I remember remembering how sad I was, that I never snagged one. They were probably about $50 bucks, which was just too much for me, and I got so busy, I stopped following certain sports. I think I may have an 87 Topps? Love that wood grain stick design of 87. 👍🥸 Gotta go find those soon. They might have been in a different box?
Great cards
Nicely centered for the 1960's
The paer stock is pretty thin on these. Cheap giveaways… But still able to slide into a semi-rigid, carefully… without creasing them.. Still impressed how old some of these guys were when they exited the NHL… Different game back then?!
hala si j'en avais eu au temp quand j'étais petit c'est très beau excellent souvenir merci
I’m just old enough to remember playing a few times in the 1970’s 👍😎 Thanks for watching!
thats saint marys pass through
for got some old six vane and saintmatys pass through also collectable.
I like the st. mary style too. The glass feels heavier on those. Maybe they’re just a little larger? I don’t own a caliper yet. 👍
only a few catseyes are collectable nine line three color, peltier bananas, vitro two colors.most of the rest are not identifalbe as to manufacture.so everybodys looks the same.
Slow motion has always been neat to me. ❤ gaining a bigger appreciation for cats eyes!
Beautiful thanks for sharing The Hernandez Family Colorado.
Cool stuff
Remember that style of Cards? I have always been drawn to that style of artwork. 😅 👍
I bought some packs, back in 2018, and 2019! Pack fresh, ungraded, my favorite! 😅👍
Great stuff
Wow, that is cool. Used to love Garbage Pail Kids when I was a kid. Great video.
I have a bunch of opened GPK stickers, that I will make a fun video about soon! What other cards and stickers did you like as a kid? I am still making custom videos for subscribers at this stage. I have so much pop culture stuff I saved through the years… I probably have other stuff you liked, but barely remember!? Let me know! 😎👍
@@mackeymintle66 I collected, and still collect, sports cards. I see you have some videos about that that I will check out. I actually enjoy opening “junk wax” packs also.
@@FSU2001 I have a sealed wax wall that has partially opened boxes that I plan on opening at some point. Stay tuned! 😎👍 some fun stuff in that sealed junk wax wall!
New sub here. I came over from 3d89sKid's contest. I look forward to getting caught up on your videos!
Welcome to the show! I have watched a bunch of your content, I may have seen you at the Legion get together too?! 👍😎
Like #1! Great items from a celebrity! Awesome that you got to work with her and others in Hollywood! Enjoyed the video, thanks for sharing your experience with us. 👍👍until next time, have an awesome Sunday Greg ✌out
Yes! Thank you!
That is a fun looking wall! Many memories I can tell from the boxes that you have on your shelf!!
Do tell! 😅 jogging memories is my favorite exercise 😂
Great stuff, thanks for sharing my friend
Love these Mexicans 🏉💚🤍♥️
@MrJmangini just showed off some nice ones today. “ A Bunch of Cards and Stories” episode. Looks like he has most of the set? 👍🤷😎
Like #3! Love these, but a bit pricey. At least the ones I would want, even the wrappers I have seen over the years are high value. enjoyed the watch, thanks for sharing 👍👍until next time, have an awesome day Greg ✌out
Same here! I doubt I will find any in Michigan at this point, but you never know. Glad I bought the packs when I did!
@@mackeymintle66 Yeah, you definitely made out when you did buy them. Nice! 👍
Like #1! You already know from previous comments that I love these Tall Boys and even though I am a Raiders fan, I have always loved the Chargers powder blue jerseys. Enjoyed the watch, thanks for sharing 👍👍 until next time, have an awesome day Greg ✌out
Great cards
77 Mexican are great!
first show i ever went to got 10 shooter akros.i am near oxford ohio where are you from?
Compared to a card show, the Marble show I attended seemed lightly populated. I’m a little more than an hour North of Fort wayne, Indiana. Just up inside the “mitten”.
i went on thursday only three rooms open.saturday not many people showed.over at 1;30.most were there on friday.
Hopefully it was still fun! Any good deals to be had? See anything amazing?
