@@timy3647 it’s very smooth for a control pad but it’s still a control pad, stopping is easy but the initial movement will be slightly harder to start

@@sarleeee Well I haven’t tried them all, actually I have only tried a few so I can’t give a proper answer unfortunately :( these ones are pretty well made, well tuned and have good build quality, idk what else is around these days but these are pretty solid

I think I know what you mean, I prefer using a sleeve mostly because my arm was "sticking" to the pad more than usual, but I've noticed the left to right thing you mentioned. I kinda feels like there are diagonal lines instead of horizontal on the stitching, I'm no expert on that matter so I cannot explain it better than this but I hope you got what i meant xD

@@swiftvalo awesome! I’m probably gonna get it but it’s only available on maxgaming and with shipping it’s 100 USD, which I’m willing to dish out cuz it’s a beautiful pad but it’s still rly steep. Any other contenders in your rotation you recommend for control? Still considering this, just weighing my options

@@tinocabral4201 you could wait for a restock on Lethal Gaming Gear! Not sure when it's gonna happen but it should I think? Anyways, the control pads i can recommend are usually the Artisan Type99 (and zero) (xsoft or soft), the LGG Saturn Pro or the Padsmith Temple of Dreams V2! :D

My personal recommendations are: Xraypad Jades for cloth pads Wallhack x Xraypad Obsidian Pro dots for glass pads There's plenty of other brands that make really good skates like ESP Tiger Ice V2, Corepads and TJExclusives PlastiX :)

@@xythiera7255 there are negative sides and positive sides, and I’ve listed both equally in the video :) if you’re looking for reviews that don’t reflect my thoughts just because I like the item you’re watching the wrong channel I’m afraid

In my personal experience this pad felt like it had slightly more dynamic friction with a little less static friction. The finish also feels a little smoother but that is probably because of the custom version, I'm pretty sure the normal Rizz is less glidy.

Weird way of saying you have no clue what you’re talking about!

To me it feels like it has a slightly smoother glide than the Saturn Pro but it has way better stopping power. I prefer it over the Saturn Pro because I prefer being able to stop my mouse more accurately when using a control pad.

@@samtheham3187if you want something very controlled just get this one or the normal Rizz (which allegedly is even more controlled, this one has slightly less control because of the design, as stated on their website). I’ve been liking it so far and I’ve used it quite a lot. If you want something controlled but with less dynamic friction just get a Hien or Wallhack SY-001 (easier to get in Europe)!

@@swiftvalo I think I might get the doodles rizz and opt for control skates such as corepadz ctrl because I really like the design although subjective. I am actually in Australia! The bummer is I would like the 600x500mm variant so much dude but unfortunately here in australia, the only retailer of this pad (the place where you got the pad) only stocks the square variant which is 490 x 490 mm I think? By default maxgaming and LaOnda website doesn't ship to Australia, I have tried contacting them for a quote but no response. I guess I could ask for a middleman to help me out here but I don't know how I would go about that

I think I might go with corepadz ctrl to give more control since doodles is a bit less controlled due to the print. I really want the 600 x 500mm variant, i'm actually in Australia, and the only retailer here for the specific pad, which is the place you won the giveaway from, has 490mm by 490mm only. Only maxgaming and laonda have this large one still in stock but they don't ship to Australia default, I contacted them for a quote but no response unfortunately. I guess I could ask for a middleman but I'm not sure who to contact.

It’s completely personal preference. I prefer speed pads over something more controlled like this, but I have seen people play Apex or Overwatch on control pads as well.
