That photo was taken in the band's dressing room at The Edge. The guy on the left is Gary Slaight, program director of Q107-FM, the radio station that aired the live broadcast. The guy with the mustache is Brian Master, the dj who introduced the band that night. I was the recording engineer, and had my gear set up in a room on the second floor of the club, next to the band's dressing room. My future wife was my audio assistant that night, and after this song, Sting ran upstairs, and took a 1 minute shower, put on a bathrobe, and then ran into our control room with a towel and asked if she'd dry his hair, then ran back downstairs for the encore. She calls it her 'brush with fame'. I still have photos of the gig, the ticket, and our control room setup. No multitrack. Live to air, with a backup recording on 2 track reel to reel. The show was produced by Keith Elshaw, who now lives in Montreal. He also produced the legendary Last Pogo album, and The Drastic Measures first LP.

So great to see footage of my all time favorite TO HC band jamming. One of my 3 favorite canadian HC bands of all time, with Genetic Control from Montreal and Personality Crisis from Winnipeg. All top shelf bands.
