Washington Hebrew Congregation is a powerful voice for the values of our faith in our community, nation, and world. Our congregation, led by Senior Rabbi Susan N. Shankman, is as welcoming and intimate as it is broad and diverse; we offer programming for every life cycle, every season, and every lifestyle. Our long and rich history reflects both our deep sense of tradition and our ability to grow and progress with the passage of time. In all things, we seek to provide a caring and inclusive community that encourages the exploration of Judaism and the deepening of faith.
