Thank you! I’m a folk guitar player and I have never really played with a pick but my pointer fingernail keeps breaking! I’ve been learning how to do my own nails for this purpose !!! I’m glad I’m not the only one !!

Will this work for building out a nail that is totally broken off, or is a "builder gel" product a better bet?
It’s does. That’s how I started using it. I would clip the real nail off and just use it to build out with the nail guards. The downside is that you may get a little noise from the gel nail contacting the string instead of the real nail. It’s safer for me to use my real nail and put the gel on top of it.
I struggle with this piece, you play it beautifully!
