We are James and Chantelle and we converted a VW T5 London minibus into a house on wheels. We reside in the beautiful county of Pembrokeshire in south west Wales. We are 'weekend' travellers with the challenges of bringing along 3 girls and now a new puppy! We are not vegan, we do not do this full time and we don't do yoga! If this is you then come follow us. The bus is constantly being upgraded and we are always looking for places to visit. The bus has not really got a name so we refer to it as 'The Whip'.

The whole VANLIFE weekend was a FAILURE from the start
We show you our secret location where the weekend was destined to be a failure. We made the most of a bad situation and of course will still had fun. We test run our new tripod that will allow a lot of people to cook over the campfire at once.
Bushcraft Barry tried out his new setup for his van and we enjoyed a lovely chilled afternoon cooking around the campfire.
We should of checked ourselves the state of the field. If we did then we would of moved on to another location. After failing miserably with the smaller tractor to get out we managed to get a larger tractor with 4 wheel steer to get the job done.

Haha it was a mistake but we made some memories. Not many buses would make it!! If any 🤣. Chicken was lovely tbh. didn't manage to film the rest of the night because of a food coma.

@1688mw yes the path goes straight down (literally) it's a fairly steep hill. But worth it

Its a nice bothy but not the best in Wales... we've got a few! Good on you taking the kids too, so good for them to experience things like that.
The flushing toilet and running water puts it up there for us. Have you got a recommendation? We want to try another bothy again but more efficiently packed 😁

Ngl as a bus enthusiast I quite enjoy seeing buses like these getting turned into motor homes, also not sure if your aware of this but some of the seats that were previously on the bus that you own were actually the same seats you can find on a larger size bus with obviously no seatbelts.
Yes the seats looked similar to the buses we used for school.
