Only code that pops up is the p0601. Start up everytime, idle good, then at normal idle speed dies. Ac on keeps it from dying. Thinking it just needs a new pcm. Can you get one from junkyard? Or does it need reflashed

I have a VW polo 1.2 mpi petrol 2016 model. It began showing the check engine light. Upon connecting to OBD2 scanner, I got P068600 code - EMC/PCM Power relay - Control circuit low. I took my car to the service station and they checked all the wires, fuses and relays. The chk engine light is still on. The car seems to act normally with no symptoms that neither the mechanics or myself can see. Does this mean that the ECU itself is damaged and needs to be replaced?

Hi I wonder if you could clarify this for me. I am a retired elecrical egineer that also studied digiral electroic systems. The code is P0241-00, The MAP was tested even while driving with the PC diagnostic tool and it works perfect so that is excluded. The car exhibits none of the synptoms described and work like a dream. The engine light never comes on. The car is a Jaguar S Type and only the amber light is on (red light is always off) Now the important for me is to understabd what the PCM is thiking so that I could reason this thig out. You said that en exhaust leak can cause this. An exhaust leak makes it easier for the car to pump out the exhaust - which lowers the pressure in the exhaust system. A worn or partly worn out turbo would also lower the expected exhaust pressure at any point in time. So am I right in sayiing that we are looking for anything that could lower the expected pressure in the exhaust system ? May thanks if you fid the time to reply.

Mine came on after cleaning maf sensor, replacing air filter and cabin air filter. All oem parts and crc maf cleaner. Didn't even drive the car for a full day after doing all that. First crank it hit me with that dts.

Hi there if I changed the exhaust gas flap actuator which is the exhaust pressure control valve do I need to re programme or can I just clear the codes from my scan tool to make the light go out.

2013 Suziki Swift. Traction control light comes on after 10 / 15 miles, cruise control activates intermittently, Could this be the brake pedal switch? Or if the brake lights are working doesn't that mean the switch is OK?

If the car has not been driven for 6 weeks , due to owner having knee surgery, could the throttle plate be sticky. This problem only showed up when I was given permission to drive Friday the 20th, September. Could treating the plate hinges with WD 40 fix the problem?
