Horrible music anyway. Spending all that money for that silly music is like buying a Ferrari for your wooden wheels.
I am almost 70 and in those days heard about it, but did you ever tried to play a record in reverse? Not so very good for your records! So I don't cared what people said; bought the record and I still have it in my collection! By the way, I played it in a gitarshop and nobody complained! 😊
I Louds win
" to protect my sanity" 😂 Great video sir, thank you!
Got to be honest, these mics sounded utter gash
27 minutes reviewing a midi guitar without testing guitar sounds it’s beyond ridiculous. Waste of time.
Thank you for the video. Love the tablas at the back
I hear that it's bad luck to play this song. And it brings bad luck to the venue where it's played.
Hello. Please tell me how to properly connect the port for additional 5V power supply so as not to harm the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 4th generation card? What can be used for this? Will any 5V charger be suitable? Are there current and voltage limits? Is it acceptable to connect this port to a PC?I'm afraid of damaging my card if I do something wrong. But I also want to make my two condenser microphones work well together.
lol fvck that song i would play warpigs
Outro song name?
I'm interested in the bluetooth connectivity. Are they stereo paired via bluetooth or do they require the cable connection between each speaker? (if not, this might justify the insane cable length).
Hi, I noticed a tabla set in the background, so you might be the perfect person to ask this - stumbled on this video while looking for iPhone compatible usb mics to take on travel, and I specifically need it to record tabla practice when in India, maybe even some performance if it comes along. I will travel light and do not plan to carry even the usual mobile setup ("proper" xls mics, babyface interface and laptop). Just a single usb mic, smartphone and a power bank, all pocketable or almost. I will not be miking directly above the tablas, not carrying stands besides a small plasticky table tripod, and I might need to pick up more than a single tabla set, all with a single mic. So probably condenser with a wide enough pattern. Apogee HypeMic seems like an interesting ultralight and portable option, but no clue about what is there in the USB mic space. Shure mv88+ is even more portable and cheaper, but sounds thinner at least on vocals that tests are easy to find for.
1:58 =)))
ilouds ate amazing. Very close to adams 5
You modern-day producers that complain about sound quality of these modern-day cards should have been alive in the '80s when you actually had to work hard to get good quality sound All these modern-day cards are splendid absolutely perfect You need to work on your audio engineering skills if you think something is wrong with the sound! Facts! 💯🎙️
Still On First Gen! Works Perfectly!
The iloud are frontfire while the GoAux are bass-reflex which is a massive difference in terms of placeability.
Thank you! I been looking through videos and people keep testing the mic with little to no ambient sound and having it pointed directly at the intended source so couldn't tell how much of the surrounding sound is filtered out, this video actually helps demonstrate that.
Hi, there's also the 16i16 (4th gen) - it has ADAT; SPDIF; 2 Headphone Outputs...
Please do a iLoud Micro VS AuxGo 4 video🙏
Great review!! I would love to see you review the Shure mv7+.And compare its xlr to usb. Then compare it to this mics xlr usb.
I just bought this product yesterday after using the KRK Rokit 8's for years, as a reference for their amazing sound... I've attached to my Windows PC. I just tried them on my Nord Keyboard and they're fantastic for home use... they have a very full sound for such a small product, I highly recommend them... and listening to your video using this product, it sounded like it was recorded in a high end recording studio... thank you, John on the Gold Coast of Australia 👍
Really wish you would have used music with real acoustic instruments for reference. That said, thx for your review. 👍
One note.. More power doesn't equal louder speakers. It's about speaker sensitivity. You can have a speaker using 300 watts to have the same SPL as a speaker, with the same size, that uses 50 watts..
Which one is better for mixing and mastering?
This mic does not need usb power. Just connect the 3.5mm cable and it's ready.
Excelent review! txs a lot!!
As many times as I watched waynes world I never knew he actually played the riff in the theatrical release. Thats awesome
He didn’t.
My god too much talking
I was a little skeptical at first when I bought my Jamstik Studio. When I found it out-performed my SY-1000 with note tracking, I was amazed that accuracy could be done IN-GUITAR. My Jamstik is now my go-to guitar for live gigs where I need to bounce between traditional guitar parts on my looper/pedalboard and synth parts on my modular/laptop hybrid setup. Great video, I hope more folks discover this instrument!
I have both and now the ilouds are for sale.
🇮🇨 Mount Teide’s shadow: the largest in the world over the sea. 🇮🇨
This is the best video about Jamstik. Thanks
I travel. A lot! Extremely busy expat here. I got the GoAux 3 set because of this video. No regrets. Thank you.🙏
This video made me fall in love with my iLouds again ❤ had them for more than a year now … love them sooo much ❤️
I have not tried the KRK, the iLoud micro if and they sound good, but only when you have the volume low or medium, but as soon as you turn up the volume, the bass begin to distort emitting a very annoying sound. After two years of use, the woofers stopped working, just like that. Searching on the net I have found that I am not the only one who has had this problem. Another negative point is that it is impossible to know which version of Bluethood. For me, this is important, as version 4 is very bad. This is my experience.
Krk is really good sound , I even have the krk rokit 5th gen , with high frequency
How do you power them on the road?
Great technical info, but ditch the music, it's distracting.
I'd like to watch goaux4 vs ilouds
I doubt if I'd be rushing out to buy one of these, even if I could afford to that. I am the guy who recorded russ murray "the light of the world " . Makes every single hair on my entire body stand on end, every time, in multiple waves I.e. actual entertainment value. Currently the only artist in the world who is capable of doing this. Yet I can't afford to buy strings for my guitar. I suspect that most of you don't even know what that even means? Goosebumps by listening to music? But taylor swift is a billionaire and her music does not do such a thing. Good luck to you though, if that's what cuts yer mustard.
Has Jamstik solved the Ghost note problem such as what occurs in the Roland GR-55? There are some patches that are unplayable due to Ghost notes, those are unintended notes that get played. Roland claim they know nothing about it but Richard McClish designed the RMC OPT-01 subsonic filter to reduce the occurrence of Ghost notes which I find only partially effective.
My jamstik sprayed 1/64 notes all over the place which had to be edited out by hand.
What would be your pick for studio monitors that don't have to be portal between 100 $ to 300 $, 2 picks would be best one around 100 and another around 300.
Thank you for the comparison! Just keep on mind that it would be much more helpful to use music with a sonic character we all are more familiar with. These fancy lo-fi mangy sounds with added noise can't serve as a reference. AND - when you switch from A to B (or more) play the same piece of music. Hearing A with drums and then B without drums doesn't help at all - especially if we can even see the analyzer on the display. Good luck for the next time :-)
Great review mate, cheers!
Thanks for the explanation 👍
I was super impressed with the VideoMic GO II - it sounds almost as good as the VideoMic NTG at a third of the price and no pesky battery to boot. The USB-C is great for Zoom or Teams even on the newer iPhones and iPads that come with USB-C. The software has a few settings like high pass filter and HF booster to make my bass-y voice sound a bit better. At $99 this is a total steal.
Are the 👂 ear cups big so my ear fit in side the cup not on the cup ?
