Sandra and I vacationed at Portillo, Chile the week of July 1, 2024. June had been a recorded breaking month for snowfall and the skiing was fabuous! So how long on average does it take to ski to the bottom?
Thanks for the great question! Telluride has more than 2000 acres of skiable terrain. 149 ski trails. 19 lifts and the longest ski trail, Galloping Goose is 4.6 miles long. If you were to go top to bottom without stopping, the average length of time might be 10 minutes. However, when I ski Telluride, I stop every few hundred yards to take in the breathtaking views! I consider Telluride to be one of the most beautiful ski resorts in North America! I LOVE my job! I create Memorable ski vacations to bucket list ski resorts like Telluride.
