With no technic parts sounds like a nightmare

it gets stuck... i didnt have the rubber bands so i replaced it with the trigger mechanism from your other vid, but still it gets stuck between the piece the trigger is supposed to pull down

by the way, your animation on how a semi auto gun works is sort of right. The system that you showed is similar to a open bolt system, which is not on an ar 15 A semi auto gun (ar 15 in this case) has a hammer that when the trigger is pulled, hits the firing pin. the firing pin ony moves a very short distance when its just enoght to strike the primer. then blah blah blah the round fires and the bolt is pushed back by the execss expanding gasses. when the bolt moves back, it resets the hammer while ejecting the spent casing.then the spring in the buffer tube resets the bolt.
