Both basses have fresh Ernie Ball hybrid slinky strings. I chose to record them with the settings I use most often. Recorded direct to Apogee Duo and slightly compressed in Logic X.

I have tried to use the same settings as much as possible. All EQ's at 12 o clock or 5/10. Virtual cab close miked with U87 in the same virtual cab position. There are 2 different Amplitube versions so I tried both.

This is part 2 of a comparison between the two. This time I boosted the bass and treble on the Stingray preamp to about 70% (50% is middle detent). Medium old Ernie Ball slinky strings on both.
