Being sent to France, and fantasising your reunion with your father, only to be told he had remarried in your absence. My heart broke for you. You survived and your life sounds fantastic, right until today. I love the way you and your daughter took turns recalling details, in tandem, even finishing each other's stories. The story of how you decided to go to visit the camp with the children was fascinating. And the love with which they surrounded you means they treasured your presence. I am so happy for you.
