Is this the same process for the heater core replacement? I have done a few heater cores but when I went to do the one on my sonic, it was buried deep in the center of the dash. So I figured maybe for the first time I would have a shop do it. The labor alone is $3000. They said it is extremely intensive, I don’t even think my sonic is worth $3000. For now I had to bypass it and I have no heat and we’re coming up on winter.

I just check the compressor I bought it and it brough 4oz+ oil in it. the brand is Hanon. do I need to remove oil or is good like that?

Do you know why a good compressor could start leaking oil? The A/C is working fine, but this compressor started leaking oil without reason?

Will it tick until it’s primed? Mine needs replaced because it’s ticking but once you disconnect the connector, it stops. Plug it back in, it starts ticking again, could that be the pump or the relay? If I replace the pump will the tick go away?

I have a Ford Fusion 2013 Ecoboost 1.6, and during continuous acceleration (over 40 mph) or when going uphill, there are slight power dips, and the acceleration feels wave-like. There are no error codes on the dashboard or during diagnostics. Could this be related to a faulty HP fuel pump?

How'd you diagnose it? I got splatered all over the compressor. Spots around both schrader valves and some where it meets with the condenser. Also a 3.8 like you. Idk if i shold just replace everything, or just replace the valve cores and o rings at condenser. Thoughts?

Problem I have is I've been waiting for one from the dealership for 9 months. I live in the West Palm Beach, Florida area, and nobody I know will install one, even if it's a gm part. Does anyone near me know someone who will do it? After parts are now available in the auto parts stores. I'm 84 years old and can't do it myself.
