I was part of this group here are the words in maori and English Ka kītea, e tāua e, ka kītea te ao e hōu ana, Whakaarohia, me pēhea, kia tau te maungarongo kia tau noa, Kore rawa, he kīkino, kore te mana a Ihowa e ngēre, Ka tae ki te wā mo he tīmatanga hōu, Ka pūpū ngā wai i ō mātou manawa, Ki a Ihowa, aue te mīharo, Nā tō tama i whakahōutia, Ka pūha te ngākau, ka pūpū i te wai, Nāu te hōnore me te kōroria, kātoa, Kei te kīte, i a tāua, kei te kīte i te ao e hōu ana, Kore rawa, he kītenga, e kore e mātaku ana, Kua tau mai nei, tōna kupu, kua tau mai tōna whakaruruhau, Ka āra ake rātou mā kua mate, Ka hono tātou i te hā kia ora rā, Just see yourself, just see me too; Just see us all in a world that is new. Think how you’ll feel, how it will be,To live in peace, to be truly free. No evil one will then prevail; Rule by our God cannot ever fail. The time will have come for a new earthly start, The song of our praises will pour out from our heart: “We thank you, our God, for all you have done. All things are new by the rule of your Son. The fullness of our heart overflows in our song; All glory and honor and praise to you belong.” Nāu te hōnore me te kōroria, kātoa,
Hello, my wife and I got the privilege to meet many of you who performed, had dinner on the last day of the convention with Rodger and his family. We might have met you.
@@TheDictator3 Oh how lovely! Rodger and Lynne his wife are very good friends of my wife and I Bob and Jude Morris. Their home was demolished by the landlord to build an apartment block. They moved from the St Albans congregation Christchurch a few years back and now live in in Blenheim and go to one of the congregations there. We still see them and they are both well. I am the grey haired Pakeha ( European) in the back row of the group.) I got into the group as an honorary Maori as my wife (wahine) is a Maori and because of my white skin stood out like a sore thumb. Alex one of the leaders said don't worry your a Maori at heart ha ha. Where do you and your wife come from and what are your names and I will remember them to you next time I see them? We sang this song in Maori with a reduced choir at a congregation gathering last Saturday. Everyone here still want to hear it sung in te reo and enjoy it. Aroha nui Your brother Bob
@@bob195532 Thanks for replying, we are from California, USA, Henry and Paulette Gonzalez. I am of Latin descent, Paulette Afro American (Black). Please send our love to them. To see the performance at the Kingdom Hall the week of the convention is unending memory. Rodger had a grandson that was about 18 yrs. old. I had heard a number of years ago, he became inactive, I hope is doing better spiritually. Also Shamar was a young person with his grandmother he was about 12 yrs. I heard he left the truth. I hope he returns, we tried to encouraged him the short time we were with him. Love to you and your family.
I think I remember meeting you both. I was the grey haired Englishman with my Maori wife Jude and both in the group. Rodgers grandson was Shay. He is sadly removed from the congregation after he formed a gay relationship with a guy. We were all surprised and shocked at that as you can imagine. He lives in Australia now and when he comes over occasionally I have seen him. I can't recall a Shamar sorry. We have an international convention in Auckland NZ in Jan 2026. If you can get there let us know and we'll meet up. I will give Roger and Lynne your love next time i see them, Love Bob and Jude
Love it.
Was so privileged to be there at this special convention-the tears flowed so freely and happily hearing our praises in my own language such a beautiful Occassion, thank you Jehovah❤

Bravo les filles Jehovah benira.¹de L'ile maurice
How can the Watchtower hurt us by saying this music is not our music, but belongs exclusively to the Watchtower and bible track society? What? Where's the love in saying that crazy weird talk?
So sorry that you feel this way. If I may explain by a illustration, it is like a song written and sung by a famous singer like Whitney Houston and it becomes a international hit. Then a another well known singing group records the same song, it becomes a hit. Well they did a excellent version, the song is not theirs, it is Whitney Houstons. It really a legal matter. I hope this helps you understand.
Beautiful song
I have to laugh as the family of boys in there i grew up with them and they Rarotongan but what a privilege to see

How beautiful it is to see people of all peoples and languages praising Jehovah
Hello to our sister, just finished watching the report on the flood in Brazil, were you affected? We live in California, USA. Our daughters and their husbands went to the International in Brazil. Were you there, they said it was unbelievable, the host brother and sisters were everywhere, singing and dancing. Truly memorable! Imagine the new world. Maintain your joy.
@@TheDictator3 My family and I are fine. We were not affected by the flood. But we are all venerable for the new Brazilian variant ,Although we are following the protection rules. But we have complete confidence in Jehovah that we will soon be free from all evils.
I always come to watch this video to feel peace in my heart
Thank you so much. Yes this is so encouraging and this vivid memory will never leave us we keep in touch with some of them and the brother who did that special part we've come to be close friends and they've come to visit us a few times. What a wonderful Brotherhood we have and soon we'll be able to be together with no boundaries and with time to be with one another and share that love the Jehovah has.

Das ist Jehovas internationale Familie.das gibt es nirgendwo anders auf der Erde...siehst du dich selbst im Paradies wenn endlich wahr was Gott verhieß...ich kann es sehen mit den Augen des Glaubens...:-))
Multumim Yehova
very good,.
Jehovah's people makes a happy noise!!
Cheesy!
Arohamai, kau 🙁 but maybe use the chords from the Waiata in “sing to Jehovah”, ?
So close to soon standing, singing and Praising Jah side by side with you ^AGAPE*
No Haka dance? Disappointment...
The Haka is a dance of war, or a challenge, it had no place in a convention about peace. All respect though to the Maori people of Aotearoa, (New Zealand) and their traditions. It just was not the right place for a Haka. In fact, soon there will be no place for anything associated with war. PS: I also was there, it was a link up to all the conventions in NZ ... it was a farewell to our international delegates ... we were all moved to tears because our Great God Jehovah showed there is no barrier to true love.
Nuka's Nook, how beautiful it would have been even more so live, brings an overwhelming tear of joy to the heart this does. Praise Jehovah

I came across this today, by Jehovah's Spirit. Whakamoemititia ki a Ihowā. 💗 It made my heart rejoice that my most favorite song is in Te Reo Māori. Aroha, aroha, arohanui i tēnēi waiata. 💗💗💗
