      this happens to a lot of people. What I recommend is not to take medication for this, but just to take your blood pressure before you go to the doctor. This actually happens to my mom and she just monitors her blood pressure at home.

    I've had it since 2005. The cure for me is going to a chiropractor. It turns out my atlas bone gets displaced and often the upper cervical bones get pushed out of place. When I get adjusted and they put everything where it's supposed to go the pain stops and it goes away. Also, I found stress tends to cause it and make it far worse for me. Hope this helps someone.

    I take amitriptyline 30 mgs for anxiety and insomnia. It was the only thing that cured my nocturnal panic attacks. I have been taking it for about 2.5 years; I’ve tried to go off it, but only last about 4 months before the insomnia revs up again. Weighing the benefits vs costs, which is worse for dementia? An anticholenergic drug or insomnia and untreated depression…? Would you have any concerns for long term use? Love your videos btw, I always learn a lot from them

    • @Pharmacist_Michael
      @Pharmacist_Michael 11 днів тому

      I think not getting any sleep as horrible, especially in the long-term have you tried other drugs that are less colonic to help you sleep have you tried to lower dose of amitriptyline? If the amitriptyline is working for you are insomnia and depression I think you probably are OK sticking with it, sometimes if you go off and try to go back on, it doesn’t work anymore.

    Hello Michael I have a question i have anxiety and my blood pressure gets slightly elevated when I get panic attacks and I take clondine at night to sleep the dosage is 0.1 the lowest dose and it helps a lot the only side effect i get is dry mouth after 3-4 hours after taking the pill do you think I can remove this medication slowly like taking half of the 0.1 pill I also used to be hypertensive but the doctor did a 24/7 hour blood pressure monitor and my blood pressure was perfectly normal but I take 2.5mg of lisinopril in the day just to be safe incase I get a panic attack I was just wondering if I could get your opinion

      I think it’s probably OK to slowly taper. The clonidine is really not working that long anyway if you’re taking it at night, but if you find that you’re having a problem sleeping, I would re-add it always remember to check with your doctor or at least tell them before you change your medication just so they know what you’re doing and if they have a reason why you shouldn’t be doing it, let you know that

    Thank you, sir, for this valuable video on trigeminal neuralgia. The pain was unbearable, but Planet Ayurveda's herbal supplements provided much-needed relief. My aunt also found their products incredibly helpful. Highly recommend!

    Hi, I was reading a woman’s day magazine today and there it was talking about Bee Pollen. so I did a little searching and there you were. The benefits of the bee pollen were more then I had expected. It was presented very clearly and easy to understand! I just wish that you had gone into a little more detail about how much to start taking VB pollen and how often do you take it? I don’t know if I’m allergic so that’s the number one question what would be some of the side effects that you would notice quite quickly? Other than that it was very very well presented and so easy to understand thank you so much for your time. Aloha from Hawaii 😊

      I just started with a very small amount to make sure I wasn’t allergic and then I normally mix it with my yogurt and fruit in the morning. I don’t measure it. I just sprinkled on top and it really does improve the way I feel throughout the day.

    Another less rose glasses way of presenting the 27% figures Michael quotes is that 74 people would have to be treated for 2 years for one person only to benefit from not having a cv deat/heart attack/stroke. This channel imo is at least partly Industry propaganda. Maximises the repatha benefits in a cutesy charming way and minimise downsides and ignore the fact it does nothing to improve all cause mortality. There may be a study that shows a 27% relative risk decrease in heart attacks but there are other experts that have questioned aspects of that research from my memory. Also these figures sound a lot less effective when looked at through the lens of absolute risk reduction which is less than 2%. Bottom line, research cant be relied upon to be honest much as we would like that simple solution. It may be hinest but without doubt it is is often at the very least massaged to maximise benefits and minimise downsides. At worst, check out the Wiley and Hindawi catalogue story plus the William McBride story to understand scientists are like all humans, corruptible in smaller and bigger ways for a variety of rewsons esp career and emplyment, and thus that cannot a priori be trusted esp when its so often paid for by entities who have a financial interest in the outcome.
