Roll on 2024 - now we have: deliberately handicapping any processors but Intel's, & - final straw - 'Recall'. At age 50, & having contemplated (prevaricated over) this for about 20 years - am finally moving over to Linux (Mint Cinnamon).

Has anyone tried this with the Jabra Link 380 or 390? I'm about to purchase something to allow me to use my Airpods Pro 2 on PC.

It’s not working to switch screens because you are holding your other thumb on the screen and making it register as multi touch. I realize they should have thought of that, but it’s easy to learn to avoid it.

Does this allow you to turn the conversation awareness setting off? My issue with the airpods pro connected to my laptop is it keeps lowering the call volume when I speak.

I found one in good condition on eBay for $143 should I buy it?

I was thinking of manually transferring files, which is not a good idea. however, I have a concern regarding freeing up my laptop to have it operate faster. my question is, since I have backed it up on the new external hard drive and intend to keep it as a record " might connect it occasionally" can I delete the data from my laptop?

I'm sorry, buy this is a beautiful phone. You have your finger on the corner of a screen which stops the response working properly. It's unique, super thin. There isn't much not to like about it. At least Microsoft have created something. Not like iPhone and Samsung who release replicas of phones year after year. Be kinder bro and give Microsoft some credit.

this worked with MS teams calls but using just them for listening to music on PC doesn't work for me and I am not sure why. for calls on MS teams they work fine but the min I want to start listing to music while I am not a call no audio comes. do you know why?

Microsoft has changed up the page quite a lot and the "Manage Personal Site" option doesn't work anymore. But if you append ?view=5 to the url of the user's onedrive homepage, you can get to the recycle bin that way.

So, at the end of the day, it comes down to either paying in perpetuity and never owning anything (the continued conditioning of the American culture just like leasing cars forever vs. owning)....or purchasing the item once and using it until you absolutely need to upgrade. I have bene using my Microsoft professional since 2016 and so I am 8 years in for the one price. Also if you don't need all those other apps like exchange, SharePoint, etc., then thats a waste of money as well for the 365 version. The one plus I see for the 365 version is that you can access it on multiple computers vs the one license for one computer when you purchase the stand alone version. But I have never found that to be an issue because when I am done working...I don't need to open the software up on another computer anyway. As for my emails I can log online or use my Gmail app with all my email addresses readily accessible. But to each his/her own. Good video explanation and thank you.

Very interesting, Ive just started a first backup, but the question is will it backup c/drive only or will it backup all drives in my computer as I keep my files and folders on f/drive, the backup in file history doesn't specify what folders are actually backed up? cheers P

Good video. What about adding the additional directories to the backup? It looks like you have to add a directory one at a time and this can be a lot (since I have many directories on the C drive). Is there a quick way to backup EVERYTHING (except maybe the Windows directories)?
