Interpolation search or binary search is pretty advanced. It adds codesize and lowers readability. In c or c++ that sort of stuff runs lightning fast. Unless ur doing 10k+ elements regularly and provided later parts of the program have any time cost, it doesn’t matter. At this point it wouldn’t suprise me if gcc optimized it into using binary search. Especially if u used a standard library to sort earlier.
