I just came out a few weeks ago and I can totally relate. Like people were shocked and confused honestly. But I was literally lying and it hurt me, I too was an avid Christian and musician in church. It afforded me so many opportunities and I cannot honestly call my self a Christian and be gay. The liberal modern church will say anything to pay the electric bill but the Bible is just that. Love and acceptance will come for me but not at the cost of gods creation.
