Not to take over your comment section, but if you're interested, I run a league that is basically this series, but with a far more diverse schedule (including open wheel, oval cars, etc). LMK if you're interested. Anyway, I was worried that the officials would have had low participation this week, but it looks like the races are well populated. Cheers

You looked much better this week! Way to keep the car rotated and rolling through the corner! Try to be a little more patient on the throttle, you can keep the car from over-rotating on exit if you are slowly rolling into full throttle! Also, it's pronounced "Vuh-loosh-uh" lol. And most people have Trading Paints Pro, so their iRacing wrap is basic.

Just a little tip from someone who runs these all the time..you can drive the car into the corner so so much harder than you were here in this race. You shouldn't have to turn the wheel left nearly as much as you were, almost always counter-steering through the corner. You almost had it on entry into 1 on lap 7 of your heat race, but you let out of the throttle. You want to drive it in hard, let the car rotate, catch it, stay easy on the throttle (don't let all the way out, keep it about half), then roll back into the throttle on exit.

There's a "manual rolling starts" setting somewhere that gives you full control at the start.

Was an entertaining race, i normally find ai racing boring but this was much better than most ai

I think you're giving up some time by being a little wide in the Buzzard's Neck, Tombstone, and Boot Hill complex (your exit looked good on most of the laps but you're a foot or so outside of where you want to be for the first 3 apexes in most of those laps). You can definitely take Big Bend a little faster (or at least get back to the throttle earlier), but that takes some experience to get comfortable with (you should be able to take it without any braking and if you still aren't drifting all the way to the outside on exit, maybe even under full throttle). But we're talking small improvements, you're already getting most of what that little NB can do.

I am a fan of yngwie's and have been since the steeler days but i really think he is one dimensional. Watching this is no different than when i watched him in 1995,96,97,etc etc. He has a set repertoire of licks he uses to solo with and does not break out of them? I would really love to hear/see him do something fresh the new record is very much the same thing again.
