I hate Bluetooth and wish we could come up with biologically compatible frequencies that don't cause health issues. The telecom industry pays for bogus tests that say whatever they want. Check out the book, "Science for Sale." The tests are biased even though Bluetooth is made to seem safe. Please make a video showing how to turn off Bluetooth.

No way. This Is not correct at all with the new smart tv’s because once this is connected to your tv via toslink you have to head to your tv’s audio setting and select optical digital as opposed to tv’s speaker. What that means is you may hear through toslink connection with the said setting adjusted on your tv but nobody else will be able to hear anything from your tv’s speakers. I stand to be corrected doubtfully

All good but would connecting this tv adaptor to your tv’s optical digital port cuts off the tv’s speakers for other members of family?

Please help. Hi, I have Oticon ponto superpower 5. Problem started when old tv died. New tv has optical digital but when any loop system connected via optical digital port it’ll cut off the sound from the tv speakers which means other members of family can’t hear the tv. Please advise anyone’s help appreciated thank you

My 2024 Audeo Sphere hearing aids do not have that icon on the lower right screen. It only shows a line that switches you to both ears together or each ear separately when you press on it. Do you have the updated myPhonak app?

Great summary well-delivered. My Signia recharger can be plugged into the smartphone port in my car if AC power is not available. Want to know what is more critical than batteries or rechagers? Wax guards. Try geting them at Walgreens. I too prefer disposable batteries but was told that their funtional features typically lag behind rechargeable units. True?

I’m running tv audio through external receiver via HDMI ARC cable to Denon receiver. Should the Toslink cable be connected to the receiver? I’ve got it connected to the TV. No streaming because TV is switched to external. If I change to TV speaker I’m pretty sure audio will stream to aids but then I’ll lose surround sound. Thoughts?

Hi, I regularly use my oticon aids direct with my iPhone without the connect clip however use the connect clip to access my Mac laptop. This works great, however, if I get a notification of a phone call on. My iPhone it take the connection from the connect clip/laptop and connect to my phone. This I understand. But, how do I get it to connect back with my laptop without having to turn everything off and on again? Also, I have found if using MS Teams on my laptop for a conference call, the connect clip cannot cope streaming audio from the laptop to my hearing aid as well as streaming audio to the laptop from the mic. This means my voice sounds distorted to others on the Teams call. I have to use a separate microphone. I know this is a Teams issue as I have had the with other Bluetooth devices, such as AirPods. Fortunately I do have a separate microphone I can use, but is there anyway to stop needing to do this when using teams? Thanks, very useful video.

You missed one more option - check the aids have not gone into ‘shipping mode’ by pressing down on the rocker switch for at least 15 seconds before putting them back in the charger …

Thank you so much. I've had my hearing aids for 2 years and never knew how to put the retention filament (didn't even know what it was called) back after cleaning. I just got them back after servicing and they were not staying in my ear. I knew this was the problem but didn't know exactly how to put them on correctly. My mom just got one of these and we have been confused by the power button and other things for 2 days. You have to HOLD it to shut it off. The instructions do not say this anywhere. Thanks for this video.

I love my Oticon Bone Anchored hearing aid. It has improved the quality of my life. I have always been deaf in one ear. With Oticon I don't worry anymore about not hearing people talking into my deaf ear. Best product I have ever owned and as I approach my 70th birthday have had for 9 years.

Its a bit puzzling;: my Tv connector stopped working recently. I checked all connections and tried to pair, but what I am getting is a solid (not flashing) light blue on the LED. And no sound. Is the transmitter toast??
