Very good idea. You have some great pieces at reasonable prices. I absolutely love the glassware with the Santa. I think knowing a little about the artist makes a piece more desirable.

I find your videos very interesting. I haven’t really seen others selling a lot of artistic pieces. I never heard of most of these people or brands. I don’t sell on line or in a shop. Just collect. I see Dahla horses quite often where I live as their is a large Scandinavian population here. And sometimes Ittala glass here.when I buy something I like I to research it that’s even more fun than the item.

I loved your educational video. I love things you like and I love thrifting etc. l had seen a lotus piece awhile ago on U Tube. I live in a Scandinavian area and one could find it here. Long story short I found a large tray dark blue with white lotus I think at a garage sale last summer. I knew I had seen something about it or similar and I couldn’t remember who made it. Then I just watched your video and I’m all excited about it. Blue is probably more common so it’s probably not as valuable as yours. Can’t see it today as is not here at this house but will check it out when I can. TY.

My first CH piece was a pink lotus bowl too. The 7 inch and I paid $2 for it at an op shop here in Australia. I posted it on one of my pyrex groups and the post went nuts. Before then I had never heard of Ch I just thought the bowl was gorgeous. I love enamel and pink and it had both. It is still one of my most prized posessions.

You don’t need to do videos in the store you have so much information and it is a pleasure to listen to all the history which you couldn’t probably do as well and also show the store. Your style of videoing is unique and far less tedious than many other thrifting videos!

I was wrong!!!! The fish turns out to be Murano, as many in the Murano group have told me. They showed me a catalog page from Jordan Imports, an importer of Murano glass, from the 1960s with that and other similar fish with cloudy bases and a glob of glass attaching them. I still have so much to learn!

Thrifting seems to be a nice way for people with low incomes to be able to buy. To buy thrifted items to make a profit seems not so nice.

I am also a newby, but.... Moreno is Polished smooth on bottom. I currently am only selling vintage/antique,to modern jewelry. I want to sell more than jewelry... LIKE YOU 😊 I was terrified about shipping when I started with the jewelry, I now am not sure how to ship knick knacks??!!??😅 Any pointers? I AM A FELLOW NATURALLY CURLY HAIRED GAL, TOO!!
