hi!! can i ask if you would be so kind to share the emulsion file so that I could try out this effect! i cant find any reference remotely close to this one
detailed and clear. Love this.
Great for making cyanotypes, etc.
This is wonderful.
Hi Emma, this photo process has just been brought to my attention and I am interested. At this very moment, I have some clippings of various plants from around my yard pressed in a frame outside in the direct sunlight. It's been out there for at least 90 minutes and the only thing I see is moisture. Any thoughts?
Hi, just seen this as I’m not always free to read and reply. Busy teaching! Firstly it’s all about the type of light. I only get quick (under 1 hour ) in British summer (June/july/.august) the rest of the year can be anywhere from 3-24 hours. Sometimes even a few days. Good luck and enjoy this unique process
Hi Emma, thank you for your response and for being a teacher! I live in the US, Alabama. We have lots of sunlight here. Is there a special photo paper that I'm not aware of? If it needs more than 8 hours, do you leave it out overnight?
That was an interesting video thank you for doing a comparison. I expected the turmeric to stain the paper. I am confused too as other videos let the solution dry before placing the materials on the paper but it doesn’t seem to matter?
thank you, it all depends on how you want it to look. dry is more defined and better when using digital negatives
Hey Emma Thanks for sharing the process :) What paper do you use for your chemigrams ?
Hi, thank you…I use any photographic paper I can find. Mostly Multigrade RC but I get a lot of donations to the college with out of date which is fun to use
This is fantastic
Interesting
would you be so kind to share the file of the blank polaroid lift for me to try this effect out?:)
thank you so much for posting all these very detailed tutorial video! very helpful
Thank you! I make them for my students
Love that process. Congrats. I've been doing some lumen prints with Ilford Paper and sunlight, no developer neither stop, only fix and wash. Regards from Venezuela
I do lumens…made lots during the pandemic
wow so sinful 😍
this is amazing nice🧠
I'm using Jacquard's cyanotype fluid as well, but for some reason the exposed image gets completely wiped when I put it under water.
It’s possible that the exposure it not long enough. It all depends of the quality and quantity of light
@@emmajukes6549 also type of paper, i used photo paper and mine washed off, the i bought some hot pressed watercolour paper its smooth but got some tooth to it and you can wash to your hearts content. Clamping down the glass to backing is most important too
I could not understand what you used on the last two before the plexiglass going down.never mind. I should have watch to the end where you printed out the ingredients used. Thank you. Very nicely done.
Hi, it's turmeric on the 3rd and the 4th has turmeric, vinegar and rock salt. However, I have been using just rock salt with my students and it really adds texture and looks like small stars
@@emmajukes6549 Well explained, thanks. What are the proportions of vinegar to water used?
Magnifique ! Merci
Hey!! Keep making great content. Have you thought about using SMZeus . c o m to get your video higher in the search??
