Travato is interesting, but jigsaw beds should be a non-starter for anyone above the backpacker lifestyle. If you are thinking about the all wheel life or even just multiple week trips, understand these multi-piece beds are not comfortable, don't work with sheets, and get tiresome to make and unmake. You really want either a platform over garage or a bedlift rig. Anyway, that's my take.

This model is about 18 inches longer than the other two models of Roam. the 159 inch Wheel Base (non Extended) can easily be used around town as a handicap van as they are less than 20 feet long. This one is more like a crew cab long bed pickup as far as parking goes. If you plan on using it as a daily wheel chair transport that extra 18 inches could be a problem. ALSO on all of them, watch what you do at drive thru food places, drive up ATMs and parking garages, these things are not short. Make sure you got clearance. If there is no sign posted I would not try it.

Maybe it’s just 2022 but the Grech claim of “remarkable craftsmanship, unparalleled fit & finish and attention to detail” wasn’t what we got in our Turismo-ion. The awning wouldn’t extend, fog lamp was hanging out, mud flap rubbed on tire when we turned a courier, bathroom door was chipped. Grech took it back for 3 weeks to fix the issues, adding 1200+ miles to a new van, and returned it with with different problems like a squeak in ceiling just driving down the road, screws in the refrigerator’s drip pan that didn’t get put back in to something they took apart, dents in the wood, and outer ottomans now make a metal “ping” when we extend them. Even after all that time no mileage, the damaged mud flap still wasn’t replaced and the first time we extended the awning it popped a fuse.
