Amazing memories. Thank you so much for posting this. I was a 16 year old Utah high school hockey player and was lucky enough to be there that night. Throwing fish on the ice during the playoffs that year was amazing too. Good times watching the Golden Eagles games in the Salt Palace as well. Glad to see the NHL team doing well. Salt Lake is a hockey town!
Hi- thanks for the comment. I'm the guy that carried the Cup out to center ice at 2:42:25! I was 25 then... approaching 54 now! But one of the best times of my life!

Yeah I was there at the Delta Center. Acord Arena at the Salt Palace was long gone by then. My friends and I snuck into the lower bowl from the upper bowl at this game. Awesome!

I was at this game as a little kid. June 2, 1995. The only thing I remember about it was when angry fans showered the rink with beer cups and nacho trays because of a bad call. And the Blades ended up losing :(

I was there as a member of the Solar Bears front office. I'll never forget some of the Solar Bears players afterwards saying that was the best hockey team they'd ever seen.
Orlando and Utah are both great Markets, the NHL missed out on both in my opinion, the ECHL is lucky to have both! I hope Houston will find a way bacvk to either the AHL or NHL soon!

Great video! I was there for many of those games and went to KC to see them win the cup and the party afterward and when they brought the cup home.

I smashed my stick against my 70s panel wall that day. I never watched hockey for 7 years after that game. I hate that turn coat MF Wayne Gretzky for screw-ing up the best season game of all time for Toronto. HATE that mother with a passion. arggggggggggggggggggggggggggg!
A lot of my fellow Leaf fans still gripe about this one... :-p Sad that the Leafs fell just short, but it was a pretty exciting series vs LA in the long run... :-)
