Yeah i do kinda agree that the gameplay is kinda mid and i look forward to kinda doing a "rework" of these two levels along with adding deco to Decaying Silo. There were things that i couldve done to improve avm such as the tower part and the last part, but the one thing that was most important to me was the checkpoint placement which caused alot of players to softlock themselves. I might just give up on placing down checkpoints ever since robtop made it so that you could go into practice mode on platformer a thing
tbh the avm remake was way better than this, gameplay included and it actually felt like a crazy level, meanwhile over here the tension isn’t built up very well and with massive open enviroments it’s hard to feel that stress that normal crazy levels create And I am fully aware that this is a layout, and that thing are subject to change. This is an opinion that may change depending on whether the level gets decorated or not, so please respect my opinion.
Thanks for your opinion ill try and use it to better improve my future levels along with my upcoming level, Abandonded Junkyard, which i think you should give your take on it since i would like to make each level better than the last one
@@mypic1 sorry for being so late to reply, but funny story: When I made this comment, I had no idea that you had made an avm remake so here I am talking about an entirely different avm remake lol But yeah, I'll be sure to state my opinion next time (with more constructive criticism than most GD players have) and... how do I keep forgetting what else I was going to say lol it's a nice level
@@someguy14845 no worries its all cool lo I also followed your advice and added some extra effects to the level + changed the background to fit the theme of the source a thing I did is at 0:55 the black borders don't appear until the drop starts and I made it so that the screen flashes white so that it doesn't look so messy also at 1:14 after the tower part is done I made the screen shake and made the lava flash white longer hopefully these changes ensure the intensity I wanted xd
