This is a live looping mix I made just before getting in an airplane. I hope you enjoy it and I hope it inspires you to download the app and try looping for yourself.
I tried to keep the “hooks” simple in the lyrics. I also had the pleasure of using my Fisher-Price keyboard that I first got when I was around 8 or so.
The top left “iris-looking circular slot is actually 2 separate recordings that LOOPY allows you to “merge” both files into each other, which is super cool. You can also rearrange the order of them. It kinda feels like TETRIS a bit so make sure to manage your flow and do this as you go.
I think of making music like “cooking in the kitchen”, so it’s best to organize each section (melody, bass, drums, lyrics & FX) as you go. Kinda like the “clean as you cook” mantra so that all the dishes don’t feel so daunting to load in the dishwasher after you get your tummy full of amazing food.
