Such a good question. I’ve fell in love with the hardbound. I thought I wouldn’t be able to lay the hardbound as flat as the spiral but it’s been able to lay flat and it’s easier for me to carry in my bags without catching on to other items. The spiral option is still so beautiful though!! If your planner won’t be carried around a lot the spiral may be a great option. Also I have a code “BIANCA” if you’re looking to buy for % off

I really want to give the hardbound a shot to take it with me on layovers, but I will be crushed if it falls apart

@ mine didn’t fall apart at all. So I’m not really sure what may have caused others to do that. It sounds like you may be carrying it often so the spiral may be a bit too bulky for you. I think you should be good with the hardbound honestly. I went with hardbound again for this year so let’s pray mine holds up like my current one has 🤞🏾

Research projects can be of benefit to your residency application for sure but keep in mind research can also look like a study including actual patients in a clinic. It doesn’t have to be wet lab research with chemicals and beakers. All in all if you have a passion for research definitely reach out to professors to ask. If they aren’t doing something of interest they can point you in the right direction with other professors who are.

How is your hair under the bonnet?

@@Doctormycurls I usually part it down the middle and twist each side then put the bonnet over them lose, no ties or pins or anything. It's almost like I'm subconsciously worried of it slipping off so I tense up or something?? Maybe I just need a different bonnet but I've tried a few and have the same problem with all I've tried

Yes, I sure will. From my experience I will say there are PGY1 community programs that have a large focus on ambulatory care. That’s the route I went knowing I would get even more exposure and experience with ambulatory care during my PGY2. If you don’t plan on doing a PGY2 then you may want to consider doing a PGY1 ambulatory care residency to get all the ambulatory care experience you can get.
