This is what I get for falling asleep waiting for shabby to stream. The wiki list for Mr Splunky is either completely wrong or includes a bunch of spawns that aren't active on interloper. In interloper, you can only find it in the TWM/BR transition cave, Eric's Falls cave, Echo Peak East, or the Keeper's Pass ice cave.

2:56 This is a stacking bug. One of your cattails was only partially eaten and some new ones you harvested got stacked with it. I had the same thing happen to me and I had to drop and pick up both stacks multiple times to get them to all stack together with the proper amount of calories again.

51:55 The rabbits are gone because of the spawn bug. When you leave a structure with a loading screen, the game doesn't spawn animals close to it. If you walk away a decent distance and then come back, they will be there again. Not sure if that includes ptarmigans or not. It definitely wouldn't include ptarmigans that have been scared off.

I've started just always dropping torches from my inventory. I keep it on the tools tab and sorted in reverse alphabetical order. That keeps torches right at the top, just after whetstones and worst to best. It guarantees you never make noise, your dropped torch never rolls, and after you drop the lit one, the next best unlit one is always guaranteed to be selected, so you just click 'drop' and then immediately click the same button again for 'use'.
