I really really love your cabin you do amazing work I've been watching your videos for a long time My dream is to have a cabin like that on a lake I live in Florida I live in a big city on a lake too many people I want to buy a piece of land out a lake and build a cabin like that maybe I'll hire you to build it beautiful job

We lived in Northern NH and heated our house with a wood stove for over 30 years. Always made sure to have 2 to 3 yrs worth ready in the yard. Any oak would be split, stacked, and let to dry for 2 years. Nice cabin.

Yes I heated my home with wood for over 30 years and a round log that could fit threw the door of the wood stove on to the good bed of coals was an all nighter especially hard wood like maple or oak. Would go from November to March and never need to restart the fire. Always enough coals to restart a good fire. Even when removing some ash.

I attached a shed to the cabin , with a door inside to access dry wood! No going outside
Hes probably in Minnesota, l see a lot of birch trees an they have very cold winters he has to have a lot of wood to make it through those tough winters.😮

My Dad would have some unspilt wet birch logs, for nighttime fires, in the wood stove. Would last longer. Back in the 60’s, snowmobiling at the deer shack. Thanks St.Paul, Minnesota.
