    “… must be 100% edible…. Which means absolutely no fondant.” *giggle snort* I first used the flavored tootsie rolls in the Toot Sweet machine I had in the 1960’s. Inspired by the sweets in Chitty Chitty BangBang, it made whistles in two halves. They actually worked! So much very sticky fun. :) Love all your tiny cakes. ❤ 🎂

      Your whistle maker sounds amazing! I googled it and the image results did not disappoint, lol. Sticky indeed! Thank you for enjoying the cakes <3

    “All your books are belong to base” made me snicker. I love your humor. 😂❤ Beautiful build. I love how you used every bit of what you purchased, including the packaging. Gorgeous, wistfully sad result. Where do you place your creations when you are done?

    • @TinyUrchin
      @TinyUrchin День тому

      Haha. I’m so glad you caught the reference! Right now, most of the creations are displayed around my home. The 1/12 scale definitely takes up more space than some of the micro scales! I will likely need to come up with better placement solutions soon. A problem for future me :). Thank you for watching! <3

    Where did you get the backs in bulk from please? I’m looking on Amazon and I’m only seeing the sets. Thanks.

    • @TinyUrchin
      @TinyUrchin 2 дні тому

      The covers are only sold in sets that I've found. I got mine from Maxant. I did also ask them to consider selling the backs separately! Some of the comments here have been brainstorming ideas for what to do with the domed fronts. But even as a set, the cost is low! <3

    The other part of the buttons could be used to make cute little bowls! I have some paint pens that are fine point on one side and brush tip on the other side. The ones that you don't have to shake and tap before using work so much better.

      @@TinyUrchin I have a feeling that we will find plenty of uses for those! I will possibly use them for a science project, small amounts of watercolor paints, or... but what if we stack a few on top of each other for some wonderful indoor and outdoor planters? It doesn't matter that they aren't too deep, and I bet they will look great!

    As a diehard Sleeping Beauty defender. I don't think most people understand that Aurora is not the main character in the Disney film the fairies are. They're just living their medieval Golden Girls lives. Also in those 16 minutes Aurora's personallity does shine through in her interactions with others. Love the darker interprepation of the story and the thought put into Aurora as a character wonderful work

    Beyond adorable. Instructions are very easy to follow. Haven't felt the need to make 1:12 size witch hats before, but I am feeling it now. The three count of witches (weird sisters) is very classic. Well done.

    This is so pretty and creative, I love all the techniques used, well done! Also my favourite thing about the Sleeping Beauty story is that there's nothing on a spindle to prick your finger with! They don't have needles or any sharp points, a spindle is just a series of spinning things and sticks, you could get a splinter I guess, but that's it!
