I dont like this version of the cutting tool the shims leave room for error. If they are bent even slightly, you could cut more than what you need

Cummins are good engines if you do your maintenance and don’t treat it like you stole it

Manual says 0.010 why yall have the feeler gauges at 0.008?

Weird cause I got a kw900 it's listed as a single cam but the cm870 uses mechanical injectors so it has a gear but still a single cam... Man I hate ISX Cummins

Hi there how you find ABC is marked in order on balancer , or you have mark your own ABC. thx in advance

For cleaning the cover and block and camshaft snout, i suggest a brass brush. It wont scratch the surface at all but will take a bit of time to scrub.
