Im so tempted to get one of these. Im just having trouble getting mp3 files for an affordable. Ive been burning cds for a month or so. Im wanting to either dig out my old mp3 or get a new one (probably this one).

You don't need to download the Sony software to add songs. After connecting through USB, you can just drag and drop the mp3/mp4 file onto the Walkman file in your file manager.

Records have a clear crisp sound and more fun to play than CDs. Plus if CDs skip or get stuck in the middle of a song, you can't fix them, but you can fix a record from skipping or getting stuck by holding the arm and forcing the needle to play through the spot . Then it doesn't skip or get stuck anymore.

Great video explaining photoshop. As i rarely make albums (only for one artist) i use libre office draw which is a very budget version but is open source. Just personal preference i always put logos on the back as to not disturb the artwork of the album or if i have some space at the bottom I'll put the logo of the disc manufacturer, e.g. sony - verbatim, etc. this vid helped me out with arranging the artwork and titling. No longer embarrassed by hand written labels. I'm very happy with how yours and mine have turned out. Even though we use very different software. May have to try Photoshop in the future.

I've got the same model. I brought it brand new when it came out. Sadly the cassette player needs some attention to get it working again. It holds so many memories, and I can't bare to throw it out. I'd loved it to be repaired. The motor inside it still works, and the gears engage. But doesn't move the cassette reels. Everything else still works on it.
