With a design brief to make this first member of a new family of performance custom motorcycles ‘look aggressive standing still’, the design team at Harley Davidson took a radical turn to create the V-Rod.
Built around and engine that traces its heritage back to the VR1000 superbike, and with engineering support from Porsche Cars, the water-cooled V-Twin was unlike any of its predecessors. With over 115hp on tap it also surprised many road testers when they twisted the throttle.
To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the manufacturer, these Anniversary Edition bikes carried unique badging and trim, and were offered in a range of bespoke colours.
Our stunning example is a 1-owner from new motorcycle, with just 14,961 miles over the 18 years and benefits from a comprehensive service and maintenance history.
Presented in two-tone black and silver, highlighted with a gold pinstripe, this V-Rod also carries a full Stage 1 factory tune and set of Screaming Eagle exhaust pipes (original pipes are supplied).
Solid machined aluminium wheels enhance what is a very distinctive bike.
Possibly one of the most collectable modern Harleys, we are delighted to bring it to the market.
All service invoices and paperwork are available for inspection.

Not a 2002 model. The fairing is wrong. Paint on seat not right. It may be a 2002 but not standard. Tacho is not 2002 issue. How do I know I have a 2002 model in the garage.
Wrong steering damper too… (how do I know? I’ve got no. 507 in the garage - a 2001 UK 748R)
@@andyjohns5928 yep, definitely 2001. How I do I know? I had a 2001R for 6 years, and a 2002R for 7. Would still have the 2002 if a dozy car driver hadn't killed it! 😓

I have the same 2020. What an easy bike to ride but so much power. I giggled the first time I opened her. I added a tail tidy, custom seat and tinted screen. Im still on sport and not moved to race or track yet. Sport more than adequate. I prefer these to the new 2021 model.
