I’ve got to be honest, although I’ll never say never, I think it’s unlikely. I’ve not opened TSC for a long time now, and the last time I did I was surprised at how dated it looked, and how frustrating it was to use. I also think, probably down to dwindling user numbers, that the cost of the small number of add-ons that do release is beyond ridiculous, particularly from Mr Powerhouse.

Totally agree. The only thing(s) lacking from a PC perspective are what are almost certainly Gen8 optimisations. Ambient night lighting being one, and some of the foliage being another. The foliage isn’t as big a deal as the night lighting, where the lack of ambient light is really noticeable. This mod effectively corrects that so I hope you enjoy it!

@@JetWash944 I'll certainly enjoy watching it, sadly I can't play it as of yet because I'm currently a console player. If I make the move to PC in the future, which I'm sure will have to happen at some point, I'll be sure to download it!

The game isn’t dispatching you per se. I think the sounds of the whistle or guard signal play automatically when the doors are closed. As I closed them before the instruction to sound played. Sadly (at the moment at least) the game isn’t intelligent enough to actually dispatch the train.

A long story, but nothing to do with the game. Nvidia Shadowplay (which I use to record) is an absolute mess with UE4 games for some reason and really doesn’t like TSW. To get it to work I have to use Lossless Scaling in a specific mode and since the last update that specific mode causes these occasional screen flashes. When I’m not recording I use it in the other mode and there are no flashes or stutters. It’s an absolute pain in the bum but there’s nothing I can do about it at the moment.

Thanks for your reply I've got the same CPU paired with a 4070. Aagh it's a mod wandered why it was looking so good, I might just try to install the mod if it's easy to do, I must say it does look really good well done. I don't understand why the makers of this game can't make it look and run as good as what you've done, don't make sense to me.

You can set your max FPS to 30 and use a program called "lossless scaling" to scale your frames to 60 using AI, making your game smoother while saving resources.

You know, you’re absolutely right. I went back and tried that Ctrl method again and it is better.

Fair yeah I usually use it. It’s a lot easier instead of constantly pressing A and D.

It’s just never going to happen sadly. Consoles are a closed shop by design and specifically prevent modding of their games. Even with Microsoft’s co-operation and having stated their intention to do it Asobo haven’t been able to bring a freeware ‘market’ to flight sim. If they can’t do it you will never see mods available for TSW on consoles, I’m 100% certain about that. It’s a shame but it is what it is.

When released all the DC lines services (so all 710 and Underground trains) are now finished. Queens Park never stops, it’s amazing.

Not at the minute. My understanding is there an issue with the game and even with input from people at DTG it’s not possible to get it working. I know Fawx tried extensively to make it so but it just doesn’t load when you select it.

Sadly not. We can’t make the change specifically for the 710. If we change the short version it breaks the pis on other things, including the 350 as it doesn’t fit.

A lot of the yard is used by the TT. At the right times of day you pass it and is absolutely full of trains. When freight gets added to the TT it will also be full of that too. All in good time.

@@Matthew_Trainspotter as long as you have the WCML installed I’m sure you can download it. Obviously if you don’t own trains like the 390 or 710 the services would be more limited.

Some elements will work, some won’t. To be honest I’ve lost track of what those elements are though Not sure why you’d leave the TT out though, it’s amazing. At this point Fawx is approaching the standards set by the best guys DTG have (I understand they’ve helped train him effectively) so you would be seriously be missing out were you not to use it. If you’re worried about performance remember you can deselect certain layers
