Except that normality of the DV is neither a necessary assumption, nor a sufficient one. It is normality of the residuals which is both necessary and sufficient (because it is varianjce of the residuals which is on the denominator of the F statistic, and that variance needs to follow aa Chi^2 for the F statistic to be valid). It is easy to create counter examples, where the DV is normally distributed, but the residuals are not (because a mixture of gaussians is not necessarily a gaussian). A very common mistake, and which should be corrected.
In ANOVA, normality is assumption is about the residual data not the dependent variable???
That's multiple regression. ANOVA is DV in each group.
@@dquin12 No, I do not think so. In ANOVA, it is also about the residual distribution 🙂
@@yesims5352 It is the residual difference between the individual score on the DV and the mean of that group. Residual of the DV yes.
Thank you! Saved my life with my dissertation haha

Explanation of rank order question results is not quite correct. For example, the numbers in column Q4_1 are the ranking of choice 1 by respondent. So, Sarah (row 3) has ranked choice 1 as 4th most employable, John has ranked choice 1 as 1st most employable, etc.
Very helpful and well detailed. Thank you !
THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH. Honestly this helped so much.
Is it possible to have your email address to make an enquiry?

how to do the references
I keep getting this error message: You are only allowed to use a subset of HTML markup tags. Is this because I am using a free account?
I am having the same issue, were you able to find a way through it?
@@JuliLechini Have you sold the problem? I have the same one. :(
same
same issue, still no answer??
I have this same problem, but searching the FAQ's, I've learned that it is because you are using a free account. Evidence: FAQ: "I would like to add custom code (HTML / CSS, JavaScript, etc.) to my survey." You won't be able to add custom code in your free account. If you do decide to upgrade your account, while you'll gain the ability to add custom code, please note that Qualtrics Support does not offer assistance on custom coding.
Explained well, Thank you so much!
Thank you so much for this! was completely useful and easy to follow!
