I heard him perform in San Francisco at Colombo Accordion company and that gave me the passion to start playing electronic accordions and not just acoustic. One of my accordions was the same one he played in this performance. I moved from various MIDI accordions to Roland 10 years ago. He was one of the pioneers of the electronic accordions and I will always remember him for that. And of course he was a fabulous musician!

Hi there! Thank you for the video. I understand the purpose of this midi controller, but my question is the other way around. How easy/difficult is it to remove this midi device from the accordion? I am asking because there is an opportunity for me to buy an accordion with this device, but I don't want it because I play accordion in a traditional way. I would need to remove it, but I don't know how hard it is and what else was changed inside the accordion to accommodate this device. I appreciate any help here. Thank you in advance!

Honestly the accordion sounds in the sound bank does defeat the porpous the accordion, although it is better for recording stuff, It's essentially a budget roland accordion

It wouldn't, If you're an accordionist and if you want to play something. The right hand would pretty much be the same, but the left hand for the bass accompaniment would be completely different to what an accordionist is used to.

Accordion technology has come a long way that's impressive .

Boxill-Harris, how have you been Keeping up to Lately, I was wondering if you need to do the other way round Lyrics in you’re own word Lyrics but sing it differently in the original Extended background Versions of those Particular song’s By Andrew Gold and The Korgis, Never Let her Slip Away and Everybody got to learn Sometime, why don’t they just Replace the Synthesizer Strings Sound to a Two Musette Accordion’s sounds and make those two Musette sounds for those Two Accordion’s 4 to 7 and a half times more Deeper then the Original Synthesizer Strings Sound that they have used for this Particular song called Everybody’s got to Learn sometime and also Replace the Xylophone Sound to a 17 Times More Deeper Chime Bell or Even a 26 Times More Deeper Still Drum Sound, Because it is Still one of my Very Very Very Very Very Very Very Very Very Very Very Very Very Very Very Very Very Favorite Song’s Ever Since I was about 10 Years of Age Thank You and I Like 👍 you’re Remixing and Remake them 2 and a half times more Deeper Pretty Please X X X

I used to play this and another 2 classical pieces that Marcosignori played (my teacher was Giuseppe Caringi). In fact, he invited Marcosignori to play in Toronto at one of his recitals. I met Gervasio Marcosignori and played to him (he was one of the judges). Such a gentleman. His 45 rpm recording of Adamo Volpi's Preludio Op.31 is perfect.
