I feel you, I'm doing my con crunch and being chronically I'll with bad joints redoing this template a million times because I'm estimating from this wonderful tutorial! It is killer on my brain and body, I have about a week left and one roll of 4mm foam.... I will be deceased 💀 It's so hard as everything is 3D print patterns everywhere and I'm a beginner with this, so I can empathise with you and hope that you've made some progress! 🩵

@@SkyeAndClouds it is possible to maybe create a flat pattern from 3D models and blender is a free software so you can open and look at them. I highly recommend checking out the models if you can for extra references

I'm at the gluing stage and trying to figure out whether to glue to handle and sickle together before shaping etc. we'll see how it goes but Ty for the tutorial and advice 🩵✨

I spent a lot of time swatching colors and just studying reference images until I found options I felt best matched or even mixed colors. It takes some patience but it helps you get as close to right colors as possible to really test them all out and compare. Also the numbering the blocks for a paint by numbers set up helped a TON to get every pixel/cube the right shade. However now I have 20+ bottles of different blue paints leftover so that's fun LOL

Thanks! So glad this helps. There's so many faux latex fabrics out there that are so much easier to work with too so hopefully that helps :) I think this particular fabric was from the Yaya Han fabric collection

Glad it was helpful! Liquid latex can also be a good substitute to flesh wax (except for people with an allergy to it)
