I mean, a full size skeleton of a dragon in the middle of a hallway in a from software game. I would be terryfied if he did not attack me, I would have nightmares of it waking up and attacking me in my dreams
In the original game, not scholar of the first sin, it would launch as soon as you entered the room. Now it only attacks after all sconces have been lit if I remember correctly.
"I like seeing giant bones of creatures, cuz then you can like, picture what it was like before it turned into giant bones." " You phrased that really weird. But I know exactly what you're talking about."
This is one of the dumbest change in the Softs version. In the original DS2 (Which is the version that representated by the happy souls video), this skeleton dragon will attack the player right away.
One of my favorite parts of me recently trying to beat DS2 is pointing out things and being like "Oh, so THAT'S what that bit in Happy Souls was about!"
"I like seeing the bones of huge creatures, so then, you can imagine what they looked like, when they weren't, a bunch of bones. Ya know?.... You phrased that really weird. But I know exactly what you're talking about."
@@jimlinks3136 hey no problem man. just be warned, each time you light a torch, a hostile red phantom appears, always one of the forlorn. So just be ready for a small fight
Hey phd just watched your video on The Legend of Zelda and I have to say, it was really well done! I could tell you put a lot of time and effort into it. I especially appreciated the way you explored the different aspects of the game, from its intricate puzzles to its immersive world. Your breakdown of the gameplay mechanics and strategies was incredibly helpful and made me appreciate the game even more. As a fellow Zelda fan, I can truly relate to your enthusiasm and love for the series. Your content is top-notch, and I'm eagerly looking forward to watching more of your videos. Keep up the fantastic work!
Technically it is a fictional road in a fictional country. The US hadn’t been involved with Urzikstan till then and some truer colors are shown soon after. It draws parallels and from a story perspective makes more sense, tbh Phara wouldn’t have allied with the US had it actually been us.

This was the first thing they showed in the original demo for DS2. Still slaps. 👏👏

This is ten hours. That's quite a few.
Spoiler: lighting all the little pedestals is what causes that, so youll go through here at least once before it happens
Happy Souls was secretly a guide to Dark Souls 2
I watched happy souls before I got to this part, so I knew what was going to happen. It still killed me.😢
How does this happen? I played the game twice and never saw this
HORSE BUT WHAT
That never happened to me WHAT?
I tried to warn you
Truly a warning of all time
Wait till ya get to the "giant sleeping bird". RIGHT DOWN THE ROAD! LMFAO 👌🏽
alright very funny, now make some room
I generally prefer SotFS, but changing this was heresy.

Are you dressed as the guy who didn't find another spot?
He just wanted the souls...
He had NO TIME
No time
Every time I die helping someone now "I just wanted the souuuuls" goes thru my head
NO TIME
I saw Happy souls more than 50 times and yes, all in the video it's true
I DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH TIME!
I just wanted the soouuullllss
Totally agree
You guys watched Happy Souls before playing DS2? Lol
For me it was the other way around
happy souls is 100 times better if u have played the game i guess at least u know what they r talking about

In scholar version, you must defeat all red phantoms and then come back to dragon
Ohhhhh myyyy goooood!
I also watched bappy souls before playing ds2 and kept going NOW I UNDERSTAND THAT THING FROM HAPPY SOULS
i just wanted the souls....

Light All the torches for the surprise
You need to be in human form

Have you ever known it to?
Are you playin vanila
@@tarlhiosantos8516 I play these on PS/Xbox so yes. Why do you ask..?
@@keulron2290thats not what they meant. Vanilla in the case of DS2 means the original DS2, not Scholar. Scholar changes a lot of things.
@@secretminty6398 Ohh… thankyou for that clarification. I’ve come to know it to mean modded thanks to Bethesda, so I was confused.
@@keulron2290 of course, bro. I got confused the first time I heard the original DS2 referred to as vanilla too
Pog
I'M GONNA BLOW UP
I SAID NO TIMEEE
We run, and then we explode

It never moved for me
You gotta light all the torches in Scholar of the First Sin. In the original DS2, the skeleton moved on its own. That changed in Scholar.
