Your welcome Owen! It's part of a trial which I reckon will be rolled out at all train stations in the future. So far, most new Metronet stations will have the EV Bays already installed.

What is the neutral section
It's a point in the line where the train has to run neutral as the power supply changes sub station.
They have not had the. Matrix displays for ages

I wonder how long those coming soon noranda station sign was there for. I always passed through there wondering what it was.
@calvinnguyen7059 Hey Calvin, I reckon ever since construction commenced would've been when the signs were installed.

@JulianTransporter91 yh you're probably right but I do remember it being there a while before construction even started probably due to Covid-19 and limited resources or something
@calvinnguyen7059 Covid definitely delayed the project by around 2 years but atleast the project had good coverage having those signs up over the years.

Because its not a real timetabled transperth connection. They've had multiple complaints regarding not providing services. Ive given up and will continue to drive there now.
@Leo-hv9mm it's really sad that there isn't more connections available to Whiteman Park, I really thought the BPSWA (bus preservation society) would provide a shuttle service from the train station to the village during the school holidays makes sense considering they have a donated NH bus that does shuttles around the park.
Why don’t Transperth implement this. “Next station Whiteman park, change at Whitman park for tram services to Mussel pool and Whiteman park village”.

Yep! Everyone Is alright. It was the cars fault and the bus only got a little scratched lol but the car got like absolutely destroyed I'm show you pictures on discord tmr

In case you don’t know why the driver honked, A LOT of people were standing too close to the edge of the platform to the point where their cameras were practically above the tracks

No new train. But new train Airport line.
They promised this rail line when we built here in 1996 Bit late !!
That is a long time to wait its good that the line is now finished, a much quicker journey into the city without the hassle of a long bus ride
0:30 on time you can ride to bendy bus is how much a pay?
So it costs $5.20 standard cash fare or $4.16 with a SmartRider on autoload 20% cheaper. It's only 2 zones to ride. However right now until 5th February 2025 it's free to travel.
Come a long way since she was targeted by MSM in Australia in its advocacy for two party politics, oh yeah it still is 😂😂😂😂

Morley station is a suburb station, it’s quite difficult to describe Morley station but it looks similar to Bull creek station and Murdoch station, I believe that’s where the idea came from.
Looks very similar to Murdoch for sure and Noranda has the Aubin Grove vibes as well, beautifully designed Stations the best on the network along the Ellenbrook Line

Great video Julian. Enjoyed a C Class ride on Sunday's open day. Felt like a step down when taking older classes on daily commute this week. Still - can't complain about the smooth ride. And not as many freeloading ferals (yet) like on the 955 bus from Bassendean to Ellenbrook👍👍

Noranda station is a passenger station as it’s close by to residents.
@lawrence.lee6 very convenient for the residents although it is important to note the location of the rail replacement stops are on Benara Road with the 903 to Perth departing across the road, I can see alot of people being confused and crossing at Benara Road on rail closures.
What’s with the second set of those glass panels that looks like a second lift but it’s not? I saw them when I went there and walked around it expecting a lift 😅
@Tysxno yeh so I think they have that as a future lift as capacity warrants it in the future. Good future proofing initiatives across the Ellenbrook Line

@Tysxno haha I was confused for a second too when filming I was going to use that lift but that's all good 👍 also have you seen the brand new USB charging ports under the power point's? They have them at Bayswater Station also, such a great idea!

Smartrider hub is the add value machine for you card plus you can purchase a standard card too $10 for the card and another $10 for credit to travel

I was recently on maps just searching where each of the Ellenbrook line stations are and I’ve noticed something. Morley station isn’t in Morley, but in Elmbeton and noranda station isn’t in Noranda but in Morley. Ballajura station is located in whiteman park and whiteman park station is on the outskirts of the park. Ellenbrook is the only station in Ellenbrook suburb. Too confusing. 🫤
@lawrence.lee6 absolutely quite confusing and on the subject of whiteman park, my partner and I walked from the station to the Caversham Wildlife Park and its a 2km walk amongst bush on a path and you do encounter kangaroos and snakes are possible too. They do need to run the tram more its a bit of a shame how it's operating currently.
@@JulianTransporter91 The tram operated 11-3 every day during the school holidays and more on weekends how is that not enough? We can't do more with the current number of volunteers.

@TransportofPerth just an observation mate to be fair its a long walk for the visitors from the station to the park its self which I completed today (2kms) I reckon the BPSWA should run a shuttle between the Bus Interchange to the village stop when you guys don't operate the tram just to give people another option. I understand that volunteer numbers are limited at the moment but expecting people to walk nearly 20 mins to the park in the heat isn't going to encourage them to return anytime soon. Hopefully in the coming months more volunteers are onboarded 😊
